Staff were curt, both at check in and when seeking assistance with the TV and the lack of a accurate TV channel guide. Clean property, nice breakfast but overall experience was less than satisfactory.

Conveniently located off the interstate. Rooms need upgrading. Paint peeling off the ceiling, water damage in the ceiling, towels were clean but old/scratchy. I expect more from HIE.

Close off I75 but no road noise. The property appears to be an older property and needs updating to match newer Holiday Inn Express properties. Breakfast items limited when compared to other HIX properties. Room A/C was noisy, had to turn off to limit fan noise.

This hotel needs upgraded. It has stained, trashed carpet and rusty hinges on the doors. Not as clean as it should be as hairs all over bathroom floor.

Positives are liquid hand soap and lotion by bathroom sink, Keurig coffee maker and 4 pods, hair dryer, updated decor. Staff very freindly, breakfast good for a hotel. I felt safe and hotel was pretty quiet, except for normal traffic. Negatives are my key card was in an old paper holder, a hair in bathroom sink, many small minor defects, such as pealing wallpaper, carpet coming up in one spot, dents in wall, stain on wall, one outlet taped over; and no shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in shower, like all other H I Express I have been to. (small Dove shampoo and conditioner and bar soap provided.) These are all minor and did not change my quality of stay, but not what I expect from a H I Express.

The air conditioning in this hotel leaves something to be desired. The hot and stuffy elevator should have been my first clue. The temperature in my room was tropical and that’s not something you hope for or expect when visiting Kentucky.

They had the whole parking lot blocked off for paving. Had to park at the restaurant across the street, haul my luggage down a street to get to the hotel. I complained, and ended up in the room above the air conditioners, every 5 minutes it's like a plane is taking off. Beds are really good but they'll never get my money again.

Completely terrible
Stayed here for 165 a night. I travel regularly and this hotel was extremely dated. Bathroom tiles were loose and cracked. Wall unit randomly turned on and off through the night so the temp varied tremendously. No outdoor trash cans. Probably not a 50/night hotel much less 165

Busted up electrical
Plugs on nightstand did not work. Needed a plug for sleep apnea machine. Found one on adjacent wall and it was totally smashed in. FIRE DANGER. Informed management, no reaction. Alarm clock was not working. I looked under wall mounted nightstand and everything, including lights, was plugged into a standard 14 gage extension cord. Legal? I unplugged the line leading to the plugs that didn't work and plugged inthe clock and programmed it.

We got the last room which was a Handicapped room. The seat in the shower was pulling away from the wall which would be unsafe if a handicapped person were to try to sit on it

Just road-tripping through and landed on this delightful spot with Expedia prices. Arrived at 11pm to find an efficient man to check us in and direct us Quiet. Comfortable. Good TV. Hot & Nice Showerhead. And I love the DOVE amenities🤗 Breakfast featured delicious hot fresh cinnamon rolls - and everything else you need.

Nice staff. Overall a great room, except the shower curtain smells horribly of mildew. If we were staying more than one night, we would have just asked the staff to switch it out.
