"Very well maintained historic property in great location. The lady at reception was very nice. Only problem was we needed to take a bus to Sibiu and she told us I reservation was necessary. Turns out it was actually a van and was sold out. After some negotiation the driver let os on but we had to stand the whole way in a very full van. Other than that the stay was excellent."

"This is an extraordinary hotel. Located within the citadel, you feel like you’re a part of history. We are upstairs with a gorgeous view of the clock tower. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only slight attraction was the incredibly firm bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a delight with lots of choices and delicious options. Fully recommend this property!"

The only thing I would strongly suggest is that the hotel reach out to guests in advance about how to drop off your bags and where to park for accessing the old town, including costs and if cash will be needed. (This seems to be a recurring theme in Transylvania.)"
