Little House: 2 Bedroom 1.5 Bathroom on Authentic Homestead

Little House is a hand built, two story log cabin located on our 320-acre Alaskan homestead. The cabin features two upstairs queen bedrooms, a Jack and Jill bathroom upstairs, a half bath downstairs, running water, hot water, electricity, internet, and a small kitchenette with a two-burner electric cooktop. This is a farmstay on a working homestead. Free range chickens, turkeys, farm equipment, land work, and ongoing restoration projects are all part of life here. If you are not comfortable around animals, rural living, or an active homestead environment, this may not be the right fit. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic Alaskan stay surrounded by nature and everyday homestead life, you'll feel right at home.

Wrangell Mountain Homestead was built in the 1970s using timber milled on site. After sitting empty for many years, our family is restoring the property one step at a time. Some buildings and areas remain rustic, weathered, or unfinished as part of that ongoing work. There is no TV or city noise here, just forest views, fresh air, wildlife, and plenty of room to unplug. Guests are welcome to enjoy Little House and the surrounding grounds, though some buildings, work areas, and restoration projects are private. We are located in a remote part of Alaska, approximately 30 minutes from Chitina, 1 hour from Glennallen, 1 hour 45 minutes from Valdez, and 2.5 hours from Kennicott.
