"We stayed at Ray's house in August 2025 for two nights -- two adults 8 year old twins. It's a great house! Perfect size for us with very comfy beds. It was also very well-stocked with extra towels and all the toiletries you may need. Communication with Ray both before and during the stay was excellent. Highly recommend! "

"Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats. The waterfront is grassy and hilly and we read and chatted there. A couple of the neighbors are quite enthusiastic in their posting of political signs, but once on the property, the signs weren't too noticeable, and the neighbors didn't bother anyone.We enjoyed walking down to the little restaurant just a few minutes away for ice cream and live music in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sliding doors onto the deck made it feel summery all the time. On a couple hot days the A/C made a big difference."
