"Fantastic property. We had such a lovely holiday. The garden is truly superb, so much so that we spent the majority of our holiday here. The place is spotless, and the owner could not have been more helpful from the time of booking until departure. It is all the little touches that make a difference. On arriving after a long day of travel, it was lovely that there was milk, juice, eggs, bread etc. I thoroughly recommend this house without reservation, in a town, but you wouldn't know it, so quiet in the garden."

"This is a stunning hotel. 5 stars in all areas. It is part of the Parador chain which is similar to the National Trust in England. The building itself is historic and features unique spaces for resting, having a drink or eating. The rooms are tastefully decorated and include tea making facilities and a mini bar. The air conditioning works perfectly. The pool is situated in the lower part of the estate. It is adjacent to a bar area that serves drinks, and there is friendly pool guard who is around all day. Parking is very close to the property and is free of charge. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking. What a memorable stay! "

"We hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad, ook al was het weer de eerste week koud en nat. Het huis ligt prachtig op een heuvel met verschillende mooie uitzichten een tuin rondom het huis. Goede tuinstoelen!Het huis is sfeervol ingericht en is zeer schoon en goed onderhouden. Voor de koude avonden is er een houtkachel. De keuken apparatuur is goed. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en erg aardig.De omgeving is geweldig. Het nationale park Siërra Norte de Sevilla is heel geschikt om te wandelen. Overal zijn wandelingen uitgezet. Het stadje Constantina ligt op een half uur lopen van het huis, via een brede onverharde weg, en is erg gezellig. Veel restaurantjes en cafés. Er is een grote supermarkt. We gaan hier zeker nog eens terugkomen."

"We stayed here with 17 of us and it was the perfect place for a group. The property is well amenitised with lots of bedrooms, towels, kitchen supplies, outdoor space, and so on. The pool is big and we were able to have parties without any complaints. You do have to pay for AC separately however this was very affordable. Overall, a great stay with excellent hosts!"

"We had a fantastic stay at La Escribana. The house is perfect and the garden is very spacious and verdant. The couple that look after the property, Lola and Fernando, are extremely attentive and were a real pleasure to meet- they attended every day to sort the pool and tend the immaculate garden and were always happy to offer suggestions for local bars, restaurants, trips, etc. Maarten, the owner of the property, was in communication from the start and was very responsive and helpful dealing with any queries. Constantina is a pleasant, working agricultural town which does not get many tourists. The property is outside the village itself, is only a 10 min walk away and has all the amenities you may need- a good range of supermarkets/food shops and plenty of bars with excellent food. Sevilla and Cordoba are about an hour's drive away, the lovely city of Carmona 45 mins. We would highly recommend and would love to go back again."
