Alcor Hotel stay
Pretty bad smell in reception area, not a good start, seemed understaffed in reception had to wait too long to check out. Also a bad smell in corridors to rooms. Masking scent made it worse! Bed was comfortable. Private beech a little overcrowded, beach bar was good. Overall okay but not 4* more like 3*
Very nice hotel , very clean and well maintain .
Location was very good , free parking and excellent breakfast . Very nice beach which all included . Services and staff excellent too . Be back soon !
We stayed at Alcor as a couple in mid-September and found it an excellent choice of hotel. We had a room on the top floor (5th) with lovely views of the beach and the sea. The room was clean and well appointed (including a small safe and gowns and slippers). Everything was working well and the cleaning staff did a good job without being in our way.
The staff were always attentive and careful to make our stay as good as possible. The fact that we were there at the end of the season had its advantages (the hotel or the restaurant weren’t crowded), but also the drawback that some services or choices of food weren’t readily available.
The restaurant staff were helpful at laying out the options available and at breakfast, they were happy to prepare omelettes to order in the absence of the hot buffet that is customary during normal season. The choice of food was good at breakfast (included in the price we paid) as well as at dinner (extra cost with reasonable prices), even for people with a fussy vegetarian diet like ourselves.
When checking in at reception they were kind to give us the keys to our room earlier, given the low occupancy of the hotel at the time.
