We absolutely loved our stay at the Timbercutter's cottage. We loved quietly sitting looking over the organic vineyards, walking around the property with the dogs, cooking on the wood BBQ and eating at the picnic table under the stars, and going to sleep in complete darkness! Wollombi is just down the road and also beautiful. The wine provided for purchase in the cottage was absolutely delicious - our tasting at another organic winery did not match it at all! It was a beautiful retreat indeed, we truely enjoyed our stay and the team were responsive and welcoming. We had a small issue during our stay and they resolved it promptly, we were very impressed with the outcome. If you are a coffee lover, there is a cafe catering your morning craves :) we saw many hot air balloons on the sky from our balcony, can’t get better than this! Highly recommended to everyone, we are planning for our next visit already with friends and family.

Spicers Guesthouse is absolutely stunning We couldn’t fault a single thing , Rooms are divine , styling is to die for and the grounds are kept immaculate Staff are lovely and extremely attentive , Cleanliness is beyond what we have seen prior to this stay, Breakfast was beautiful , good coffee and the staff were extremely welcoming to our son who also has allergies - absolutely nothing was a problem. The hotel was a great stay for a few days, the owner Chris is a nice guy and very accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy.

We were lucky to be upgraded to the Spa suite. Large and very comfortable room. Huge bathroom. Great outlook over the vineyard. Close to the centre of the valley. Lovely walk, kangaroos, enjoyed dinner there on arrival and enjoyed the house wine. all good!!

Not what i had expected in mind ,judging by the photos on the internet . The reception table should be tiled with a nice tile feature wall to reflect the contemporary look of the hotel. Judging by the photo of the reception area i was at first reluctant to make the booking. That's why when we entered the room it came as a surprise to how modern the hotel was. The overall experience of the hotel being centrally located to all amenities is the selling point for me as my choice for future...

The manager was very helpful. As I had advised her that I would be arriving very late on a night that turned out to be cold and wet, she turned on the air conditioning and the porch light for me before I arrived. The room was surprisingly spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well lit. The kitchenette was well stocked with utensils and very functional. Generous breakfast supplies (a range of cereals, bread, butter, vegemite, jams, orange juice, milk, yoghurt,...

The Vine Valley Inn is a great place to stay. In the middle of Cessnock CBD, it offers a very pleasant and personalised atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff, rooms which break the usual sterile motel mould, very comfortable beds and lots of bonus provisions such as lounge and eating area. It was quiet, parking was easy and free, and the shower was excellent. What more could you wish for? Reasonable rates? You have them!

Great house for a family or group get together, golf course right at your back door. Short walk to Nineteen for happy hour and for events at Chateau Elan or a round of golf or two. Thd house was very clean and spacious and had everything you need for a great stay. A pod coffee machine would of been a great addition for our stay but not a deal breaker as was able to get takeaway coffee up thd road.

We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the egg kitchen. No salad at the time I stayed but a good...
