The best area to stay in Condingup is within the village itself, or on properties bordering the Cape Arid National Park for direct access to nature.

Condingup village offers a convenient base with its general store and tavern, which are the main amenities in the area. It's a small, spread-out community, and accommodation options here often include self-catering cottages or farm stays, providing a relaxed rural experience. This is ideal for families who appreciate having a central point for supplies and a local spot for a meal after a day of exploring.

For those seeking a more secluded experience with direct access to the natural beauty of the region, staying on properties along the edge of Cape Arid National Park is an excellent choice. These accommodations often include private holiday homes or eco-lodges, many with expansive views and proximity to walking trails and pristine beaches like Thomas River.

The best time to visit Condingup is during the shoulder seasons, specifically from March to May and September to November, when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller.

During these months, you'll experience mild temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, which is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region. The conditions are great for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and visiting the pristine beaches. You'll avoid the peak summer heat and the cooler, wetter winter months.

For those looking to enjoy the stunning coastal scenery and engage in outdoor adventures without the busier periods, these shoulder seasons offer a more relaxed experience.
