Our conservation practices through the years have ensured an abundant wildlife population on the ranch. Resident deer frequent the lawns at the cabins and the fields with the cows. Elk herds from the valley make their way across the river to the ranch in late summer and come and go through the fall and winter. The ranch is also host to coyotes, bear, cougar, bobcats, opossum and an extensive list of woodland and open country birds including Canadian Geese, hawks, owls and our great eagles, who call the ranch home year-round! Great stay at the ranch. Loved the cabin, the views, the walks around the farm and to the river. Saw cattle, of course, but lots of deer, geese, and eagles too. The views of Mount Baker, and Sauk Mountain were amazing. Easy access to Concrete, and all of the mountains and parks for hiking. The staff are amazing and have great info to help make your stay better. Highly recommend staying here.
