"The view from the dining area was great!getting down to the beach was impossible as you had to walk down hundreds of steps. The hotel itself was clean but very dated. It needs to be updated with a new decor and new mattresses The staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Especially helpful was Louisa. Louisa found the perfect beach for us in Atrapi. Thank you Louisa!!! "

"The week at Villa Elena was perfect for our family of 15 — grandparents / our children / AND the 8 grandchildren! The 7 bedrooms were private with individual bathrooms ,,, the view was fabulous from all levels of the property— and the pool was a big hit for the entire family. When you stay at Villa Elena — you enjoy the Amalfi Coast in a quiet beautiful area — and only minutes to the drama of tourists in the towns of Amalfi and Positano. "The location was fabulous. Just a short bus ride from Amalfi in one direction and Positano in the other. There are 300 steps down to the property from the main road, there is no other access point except via water taxis, which you can organise each day. We used the bus so those steps kept us fit during our stay, there are a further 700 steps up to the supermarket, that kept us even fitter lol In the morning you have the cove all to yourself and we used to get up early for a lovely morning...
