"We found bed bugs. The manager offered another room but this place was so run down, we left and had to drive 50 minutes away to find another hotel at 12:30 am. The blinds on the window facing the Main Street were in terrible shape. I had to improvise with a bath towel to keep people from seeing right in our room. There is a large hole in the floor that was carpeted over. Unbelievable to me that VRBO would accept this property! Very disappointed! "

"The location is the real highlight of this stay—just a minute from the boat ramp at Platte Creek Recreation Area, which made it super convenient for our time on the water. The tiny home itself was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done. The owner is a really nice guy, very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a spot close to the river with easy boat access, this is a great choice!"
