"Second time at Les Cottages du Lac. The cottages are great and well equipped, so quiet and nice private garden to have outdoor dining, you can rent a bbq hot plate. The lake beach is a few mins walk with local playground and lots of water sports but the lake was polluted this week so we couldn’t swim in it. Nearest swimming lake nearby is 25mins at Sanguenet - beautiful! The food at the restaurant is very good but we found this year they are not as flexible as they used to be at dinner time....

"Delightful equipped appt in a house configuration, with high hedge around own garden area. Excellent access via mud footpath to very slowly sloping beach on the lake, resulting in warm water (sailing school for youngsters there). Biscarosse town (20 min drive) and its crashing waves beach (further 5 min drive) has a restaurant on the N beach, the S beach is probably the town beach. Downside: found out that you need to use their (wonky! ) trolley to unload ref PMR ppl. No mop. Mattress not firm"

"Aucune communication avec le ou les propriétaires. Entré dans les locaux effectué seule. La literie commence à dater un peu matelas chambre parentale déformé et dur comme du béton . Sans oublier un problème de chaudière pour l eau sinon rien à signaler."

"Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden und die Unterkunft ist gepflegt und sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll. Platz für 5 Personen ist auf jeden Fall ausreichend. Zum See ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Ein Pool ist in 50m zu erreichen. Zum Atlantik fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 30 Minuten. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es genug Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Park, in dem das Haus liegt, ist ruhig und das Haus bietet auch im Garten genug Privatsphäre. Der Kontakt mit...

"Second time at Les Cottages du Lac. The cottages are great and well equipped, so quiet and nice private garden to have outdoor dining, you can rent a bbq hot plate. The lake beach is a few mins walk with local playground and lots of water sports but the lake was polluted this week so we couldn’t swim in it. Nearest swimming lake nearby is 25mins at Sanguenet - beautiful! The food at the restaurant is very good but we found this year they are not as flexible as they used to be at dinner time. Friday and Saturday nights were fully booked with no take away service. It would have been nice to have been offered to book dinner when we arrived but the food at Pipiou restaurant was good also,5min walk and we recommend Hotel Lakeside for dinner also (10min walk). However when we did eat there it was delicious with great service. There is a two hour window for lunch 12-2 but if you miss that they have a good panini and crepe menu to offer. Also the Reception team are v helpful. Make sure you book any taxis in advance. You can easily rent bikes down by the lake by the hour/day/week. A great family resort."
