Relax! You've just found the perfect German Village Getaway Home

This GV Hideaway is absolutely perfect for your weekend Getaway or week-long work trip. This is our personal second home, not an investment property, and you will immediately notice the difference.

The location is amazing. You will be less than a half-block from Schiller Park, GIVE Yoga Studio, South Village Grill, Thurmans, Fox in the Snow Coffee Shop & Bakery, German Village Cafe, STUMP Plant Store and German Village Nutrition. It is just a short walk to The Book Loft and all of the many restaurants and retail destinations that make German Village Special.

The outside of GV Hideaway is private and perfect for finding your inner zen with a beautifully landscaped courtyard that includes a covered porch, brick patio, great outside furniture, programmable string lights, natural gas fire pit and cedar fence. Forget about fighting for parking! This home has a large private driveway suitable for two cars with motion activated security lights.

Inside this cozy yet spacious cottage you will find high end finishes everywhere. The large galley kitchen is outfitted with a Kitchenaid Refrigerator, Kitchenaid Double Oven, Kitchenaid Under Counter Wine Cooler, Bosch 5 Burner Gas Cooktop, Bosch Dishwasher and professional grade cooking equipment.

All furnishings in the home are new from Pottery Barn in 2022. The cozy living room is perfect for reading or snuggling in to watch the 50" Samsung Frame TV. The dining room with large table is a great extension of the kitchen and perfect for meals, conversations over drinks or spreading out work.

The upstairs features a large bedroom with adjacent full bath where you will sleep like a dream on the King Sized Westin Heavenly Bed®. If you have never experienced the comfort of the Westin Heavenly Bed® you are in for a serious treat!

Best of all, the property is managed by experienced hosts who provide the amenities you need to feel right at home.

The GV Hideaway is equipped with 1 Gig Wireless Internet from Spectrum.

Everything about this home is just perfect! There are several terrific dining options just around the corner, a park for strolling or exercise down the street, and the shops and additional restaurants of German village within easy walking distance. The home is beautifully appointed, and the hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. I look forward to visiting the area again and will definitely book this home!

Weekend Getaway

Great location. We stayed here two nights as we had reservations for an event in Easton and did some shopping. We loved the high end kitchen appliances and the bed was super comfy. The owners are extremely nice, super responsive, and go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. We will keep this little gem on our favorites list for when we visit Columbus.

Perfectly Perfect

This home has everything you would ever need for vacation. It is centrally located within 15 minutes of all the fun. Great private courtyard, off street parking, and walking distance to restaurants and parks. Top notch furnishings, beautiful artwork, and gourmet kitchen. Hosts were awesome and very commubicative. Will definitely return to this oasis in the city.

Great place to stay in German Village

We had an awesome stay in German Village, and this house made it even more special! The house looks like it was recently refurbished and the outside patio is very spacious and quiet. The location was less than a block from a couple restaurants and an amazing coffee shop with incredible pastries! Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Location & Getaway

Great place to call home while visiting family in the area. We love the German Village area and this home was very walkable to all our favorite spots. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The kitchen was amazing with upgraded appliances, William Sonoma dishes and pots and pans. Off street parking was included too!

My perfect home away from home!

This space has served me magically, more then once. My favorite perks are the privacy, the excellent parking for my camper van, the soaking tub, the cleanliness, fantastic appliances and amenities, and swift communication with the owner. I’ll definitely be back!

Spectacular Weekend Escape

What a warm and welcome home to escape to for the weekend. All the comforts of home—easy parking, beautiful and clean spaces, lovely courtyard with fire pit. Could not have asked for more. Location is quiet but walking distance to some great food options. And a quick uber to even more. Would recommend without hesitation!

Perfect little weekend spot

Rented this location for a little weekend away. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Great location to a couple of great restaurants as well as a park nearby. The backyard space was beautiful and a great place to read a book around the fire. Hosts were wonderful and very quick to respond. Absolutely would recommend this location!

Very Pleasant Stay

Lovely German Village Stay

This property is even nicer than the photos! Great quiet location only a block from the park and from multiple restaurants. Stocked with everything you need - and more. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep - but that seems to be the case with most German Village homes. We'll definitely stay here again.

Great stay in German Village

My wife and I stayed for 10 days and were very happy with our choice. The house was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. It is located just a 60 second walk to a great office shop and some really good food. They home setup is great to spend time in if that your plan. The outdoor space was also great to relax at in the evening.

Our go-to place in Columbus

This is a very comfortable small house on an extremely quiet small street called an alley, perhaps inappropriately. The owners are easy to communicate with. The house is well equipped and needs no repairs. Close to everything in German Village. We’ve stayed here three or four times, because we enjoy it.

Perfect weekend getaway

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The home was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. The location could not have been any better, tucked away on a quiet side street near Schiller Park, where we walked every morning after we picked up our Starbucks a few blocks down the street. We had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend getaway. I highly recommend!
