Nice Home with Convenient Location

This is a nice little home in a convenient location. Driveway was a little bit of a challenge for larger vehicles, but still manageable. The beds were comfortable and clean. If you plan to cook, I recommend bringing some extra cookware.

Quiet plenty of indoor fun

Decorated nice, comfortable, quiet neighborhood setting. Great stove and fridge and laundry. Games for family fun. Off street parking. Responsive owner. Close to grocery and restaurants. Perfect for our trip to see our soldier graduate and bring him here for a family visit and meal.

We enjoyed our stay. The house worked well. If you will be doing much cooking I would just check on what is going to be provided in the kitchen. The owner is very responsive and I felt questions were addressed. The location seemed to work for Fort Benning and shopping. We would consider coming back in the future to this house. The neighborhood was quiet. Thank you.

Roomy and so nice!

We came to town for our son’s army graduation. The home is located within 20 minutes of the base and worked absolutely perfect for our needs. The house is spacious with an awesome couch! All of the beds are very comfortable and we were all happy with our stay in Columbus! I would highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a comfortable and quiet place!

Such a cute home with awesome neighbors!

Had such an amazing time during our sons turning green! This house was just what we were looking for! Very clean and beds super comfortable. The neighbors seen us outside and introduced themselves, very nice and so friendly! Cute area and really close to Sandhill gate! Will be sharing this listing to all our Army friends!

Convenient, quiet neighborhood, close to many places

Overall, the house was great. The layout was perfect for our trip and needs. Communication (texting) with owner was convenient and prompt replies. We had plenty of space, beds were comfortable, appliances worked with no issues, fenced in backyard that was decent size. Negatives - cleaning was just ok and done in main areas only, heat did not work consistently, several door knobs did not work (including side entrance and one back door). Would definitely consider staying again but not in winter!

Nice, quiet neighborhood

House is nice and in a good location. If you plan to cook, bring your own pots and pans. The ones provided are not in the best of shape. The check out time on the listing was 11am, but the instructions given once i got there changed check out time to 10 am.

We were in town for a military event. Location of the house was close to my son’s place and easy access to Ft Moore. House was clean, had everything we needed as far as amenities. Neighborhood was quiet. Beds were comfy and I did some work from the comfy sofa. Two bathrooms is a plus! Would stay again!

Very clean place

Very clean place. Not to far from the base. Lots of room. Beds were comfortable and it was pretty quiet. If you are planning on staying a week and cooking, the cooking accessories are minimal. Had to buy a spatula. Ran out of toilet paper but I think that was just an overbite. Over all a good place.

Great Comfort and Communication

This was a cute house, and spacious!!! There were some cleanliness issues but as soon as they were brought to the attention of the owner the owner worked to resolve it. The house had the entertainment piece and cozy rooms. The neighborhood was ok, other than across the street letting off fireworks late when we arrived on a Tuesday night, not sure other neighbors love that either. Location was great otherwise. Would definitely stay again and hope the pool will be up and available in the future.

Beds were comfortable, fridge and stove and microwave were great. The kitchen cabinets really need an overhaul. They said there was a toaster and there wasn’t. Not a big deal just inconvenient. The front bathroom needs a makeover also. I must say for the cost of the three nights we stayed it was worth it. We left a day early to get home earlier. Overall it met our needs to be together for my granddaughter’s graduation from boot camp.

Great find

My family was in town for a wedding. And because there are 6 of us (2 parents and 4 teens/young adults) we decided instead of renting 2 hotel rooms a night maybe we could get a home. I was very reluctant at first but this may have been the the 1st best decision I made but the second was choosing this home!!! It was clean and spacious. There was a desk for my to complete school work from my online class. The neighborhood was calm and quiet. And close to alot in Columbus. I truly enjoyed being here for the 5 days. Great rental!!!!

An Experience!

The most difficult part was check in. The check in instructions were not accurate and we struggled to check in. It was 8:30 pm and I texted the host, called the host, emailed the host, and not response until 10:00 pm. It was hot, we were frustrated after driving 13 hours and VRBO's solution was to look for a hotel for that night, at 10:00 pm. The host finally called and the stay was very nice. The kitchen needs a little more dishes, pans and spoons, but the house was very clean, nice, cozy, and the host responded after the check in incident. Overall, it is a very nice house in a quiet and tranquil neighborhood.

House on the steep driveway

Overall it was a nice place. The decorations were pretty and it looks like they are steadily improving the older parts of the home. I would recommend getting an anti slip mat inside the main bathroom due to it being a little slippery when showering. The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was there was barely any silverware, we contacted the host and the silverware never arrived so we had to spend some money to buy our own. The pots and pans they didn’t have a lot of, so you may want to bring your own essentials. The neighbors were very nice, the beds and couch were comfortable. We did enjoy our visit, these were just minor things that can be fixed to improve on. We did enjoy our stay. We even had a tornado siren wake us up to warn the neighborhood that a tornado was approaching in the middle of the night. That was comforting to us because the tornado hit a street behind us. Everyone was safe and thankful for the warning. Overall the place was quiet and in a decent location.
