The Neighborhood:
This unit is in the perfect location as High Street (half a mile) , Downtown Columbus (2.5 miles), The Shoe (1.5 miles) and Ohio State campus (half a mile) are all right around the corner.

Getting Around:
Many activities are in walking distance but there is city transportation if needed. Columbus has ample street parking along with most venues having their own parking.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. First the key to our apartment was missing. Perhaps for the best considering the surroundings. Our friends were forced to find a hotel as we were told to wait while another unit was found. Upon arrival at 2nd unit, unclean conditions, deadbolt malfunctioning which caused lacking safety, and a slew of hardwired smoke detectors that beep every 30-45 seconds. 0/10 host responsiveness and came to find a call center representative is impersonating the host. Refund was offered but never followed through. Do not make the mistake that we did. Avoid any and all properties managed by Tom at all costs. The 4/10 average rating on his properties is far too generous….
