Farmhouse Retreat for 10 • Pond, Fire Pit & 31 Acres to Explore
Muletown Manor | Historic Farm Stay on 31 Acres • Sleeps 10 • Fire Pit & Sunset Views
Our Manor house is a beautifully restored log home originally built in 1808. It’s the perfect place to gather with family or friends and enjoy a slower pace of life. The home features three bedrooms, two fully renovated baths, a renovated kitchen, a charming dining room with a cozy gas fireplace, and the coziest family room. We worked hard to maintain the historic character while adding modern comfort throughout the house.
Outside, guests love spending time on the porch with coffee in the morning, wandering the property, exploring old barns, meeting Dixie the horse, fishing in the pond, and ending the day around the fire pit watching the sunset over the fields. (The Manor shares a fenced yard and fire pit area with nearby Crockett’s Cabin.)
Muletown Manor is also a great home base for exploring Middle Tennessee — from hiking Stillhouse Hollow Falls, visiting the Amish community in Ethridge, enjoying the Hampshire wineries, or dining in Columbia. Nashville is just a short drive away if you're in the mood for live music and a little big-city fun. If you're looking for a place with history, space to roam, and a true Tennessee farm feel, we’ve got you.
This is the kind of place country songs are written about.

The property was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the perfect amount of space for our girl's trip. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back one day!
We stayed here for my brother’s wedding weekend and it was perfectly convenient to the amenities in Columbia and the space was perfect for us! Would highly recommend.
We had an amazing 4 nights. A beautiful/historic property. The home had everything we needed & felt very homey & cozy even though it’s so spacious. We had 6 adults & 3 kids. Kids loved giving Dixie the horse treats & had so much property to run & get their energy out. Holly was so kind when we had ?’s about trick or treating ideas. We enjoyed meeting some of the guests at the other guest cottages. If ever in the area again, we’d definitely stay again. Thank you for a great long weekend stay.
We loved our stay at Muletown Manor, its rich rustic history, yet very comfortable and updated interior was just what our family needed. It is located easy driving distance to downtown Columbia and other amenities yet still with the quiet countryside feel. Perfectly clean, with very sweet hospitality from hosts. (And a gentle fun greeting from the friendly pony that the kids loved). Would definitely stay here again, wonderful family memories were made.
200+ Years of History Equals a Long Magical Weekend
We were in town for a family reunion and Mule Town Manor was and idyllic resting spot between events. The symphonic chorus of birds great you in the morning. The neon sunsets over tall grasses tuck you in at night. It is cozy and wonderful!
The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. We travel, a group of 6 adults. We truly felt like we were at home in this house. We ere only a short distance from town and plenty of great restaurants, yet when you turned on your road it was quiet and peaceful. We say deer and turkeys in the pasture behind the house.
Fantastic property, everything as advertised and more. Worry free stay, allowing us to focus on enjoying our time with family and making wonderful memories. So many little touches - including handmade jelly and farm fresh eggs. Owners give you a five-star experience yet are never seen. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!
If you need a weekend getaway or family coming in for a event and need room for everyone. Check out the Muletown Farm it’s absolutely wonderful where everyone are right there together. We had it this weekend for my daughter wedding. It’s in Columbia Tn we had all 3 cabins and there was the best country relaxing feeling. I truly recommend you to go here you will not be disappointed.
My wife and I were in town for our son’s junior college regional baseball tournament. There was a total of 4 adults in our group. We have stayed in a couple different VRBO’s, and I must say this has been our favorite! Not only is the property beautiful, learning the story behind it really makes it more amazing! Very comfortable and relaxing!
Holly was very accommodating and responsive to all request!
A definite must if you are in the area!
The Muletown Farm was an absolute dream. The whole property is everything you would want in a family vacation. The Manor house accommodated our family of 10 perfectly. We had everything we needed and more. We were able to cook all our meals at "home" with the stocked kitchen. We even had family staying at Maury County Park and we were able to have them over to crank up the grill and have a smores bonfire after Mule Day.
We loved our visit and will make sure we stay here for years to come. Not just the Manor house, but all the houses on the property. Cant wait to come back.
Our extended family stayed here while attending our son's wedding. We rented the manor and cabins. Everything was amazing! We are so glad we chose Muletown Farm!
