Maple Roost - A Stroll to Downtown Columbia & Square

Maple Roost is a locally owned and managed 1,750 sf cottage one mile from Columbia's historic downtown Square and within walking distance to the James K. Polk Home & Museum. Located on a quiet street in the historic district of "Muletown," our 2 br/2 bath home is fully outfitted for staying in and relaxing, while its central location is ideal for exploring the many locally owned shops, boutiques and antebellum homes in the area, as well as the bucolic farmland and rolling hills of Maury County.

Holly was a great host, no question unanswered, every need provided for. The house was clean, adorable and located near the town square, providing that Hallmark town feel we were going for. Did I mention there were also farm fresh eggs? Highly recommend!

The Maple Roost did NOT disappoint! Rhe home was extremely clean. The decor was perfect. Truly felt like home. The layout was wonderful. It was just me and my husband, but if traveling with kids, the double living areas would be a huge bonus! It had everthing we needed! The location was great for exploring the quaint downtown area. We loved our time in Columbia while on a business trip! The house was in a perfect location and was the most perfect place to stay. Lovely place to stay

It is always a pleasure to stay at Maple Roost. We enjoy visiting Columbia to visit family, and this house has everything we need. I was able to cook casseroles for Thanksgiving dinner because the kitchen is so well appointed. And we enjoyed being close to everything we needed.

Celebrate the Season

This charming home is within walking distance to all the shopping and Christmas festivities that the Columbia Square has to offer. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed with everything you need if you wish to cook. The entire home is beautifully decorated, cozy, and peaceful. We loved our stay!

Lovely Home

My father, teenage son and I stayed in this lovely two bedroom home. There was space enough for everyone, and it suited all ages. The location was quiet and felt very safe. From the house, we enjoyed walking down toward the courthouse and visiting the Polk House. We hope to visit again.

A Roost Above The Rest!

This place has everything a family of 4 could possibly need, including enough space to stay cozy and watch a movie or spread out to separate spaces for alone time. Our stay was wonderful. This house is lovely. From the decor to the amenities, Holly has thought of everything. She checked in on us to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed and also recommended some cute places locally to go shopping. The location is ideal. It was very close to downtown. It is close to a grocery store, shopping and several restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet, and we felt safe. We have all agreed that we would definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area. It was perfect.

Hated to leave

Easily my favorite VRBO rental to date. The house was even nicer in person. It’s one if the few properties I’ve stayed in that I didn’t feel the need to clean anything. Even the Keurig looked freshly washed. Check in/out instructions were clear and the host is friendly and responsive. The house is very cozy - plenty of space to hang out with friends but also space to have some alone time. The walk into town was nice and there were several great food options. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Fabulous girls weekend at Maple Roost!

Once upon a time, there were 3 girls who met when they were 11 years old. They all lived on the same street in Columbia, TN. They all grew up and moved away, but they have remained friends (and held a fondness for Columbia) for 60 years! This weekend, they returned to Columbia to celebrate Easter with other friends and relatives. Lucky for these 3 girls they rented the Maple Roost - a most charming home, in a perfect location, and it was equipped with every convenience anyone could want. And luckier still, the property owner was the sweetest and most accommodating host ever!!!We are looking forward to our next stay at the Maple Roost . . . and we highly recommend it for anyone in the area! FIVE STARS all the way!
