The staff were very friendly and attentive. For such young people they surprised me with their smiles and willingness to help. This property had been owned by several other motel companies in the past, but the new owners have done a nice job getting a facelift on this property. Aside from the shower design being curtainless which caused drywall damage and undoubtedly the reason for obvious leaks from above floors (water gets all over the floor), I felt it was a great value. The surrounding area has gotten bad with shootings and crackheads, but I didn’t see them on this property. Aside from smelling weed occasionally during my stay it was pretty uneventful.

The hotel needs some serious maintenance. The carpet was dirty, the ceiling was covered in water stains, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. The quality of service really depends on who is working. The woman at the front desk during the night was rude and impatient, while the woman working in the morning was very pleasant and helpful. On the positive side, the bed linens were clean and the breakfast was decent.

Amazing staff. So friendly. The hotel was so clean. Only thing I wish I knew was that the extended stay is inside of the hotel hotel rooms. The hawthorn rooms are on the outside of the hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal. Overall wonderful stay. I will be back

My room was great, but the stove was broken. I also didnt like that even at 1pm , I had to ask them to unlock the pool. And on one of the days when it was 100 degrees, they closed the pool at 4pm and put chemicals in it. The pool closes at 9pm, do it then. I chose this hotel because they had a pool.... this was after reserving at a place in Camden that "said" they had a pool, but did not have water. All in all it was a good stay... I will return.

The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The pictures online are a little misleading. The feel is more of a motel as half the rooms had an outside entrance, which normally wouldn’t bother me but I didn’t feel like the area was the safest. The beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. The shower wasn’t very clean and an old washcloth was hanging on the shower rod. I didn’t notice it until we were getting ready to leave or I would have said something. Also noticed a few hairs on the shower wall. Location was easy access to Fort Jackson. Breakfast was decent. You get what you pay for and we were only there to sleep so it was manageable. I wouldn’t stay again though.
