Older property in need of a decent amount of routine maintenance. Comfortable beds. AC worked but was a window unit mounted at floor level so the air didn’t circulate as well as needed. There was some mold in the bathroom ceiling and the toilet paper dispenser literally fell off the wall. We didn’t partake of the sparse continental breakfast but pickings were slim. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms were super clean, and beds were very comfy. It’s an older place, so there’s some wear and tear, but it was a great price point, close to everything we needed, and we would stay again if we come back to the area. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, the college, etc. A/C was super cold, which I loved!

The staff were very nice, but the rooms and overall hotel could use some updating. Cleaning up the check in area and some coats of paint could go a long way. For the price I did not expect much, essentially you get what you pay for. Overall beds were comfy, sheets were clean and was fine for 1 night.

The staff managing the reception counter were friendly, courteous, and inviting. Due to no fault of its current owners, the structure is close to a very busy street and railroad tracks. Rooms to the front of the building are accessible to a lot of noise from traffic and train horns at night. The room and bathroom were clean and amenities good. The location is easily accessible to many University of South Carolina activities as well as the city of Columbia activities, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. The convenience is well worth the cost of the stay.

Staff was very nice. Room was cheap. Had hot water 1 of 2 days. There was a blanket between the Top sheet and bottom sheet, so that was weird and gross. Room was not attended between nights.
