Sunshine BNB in Downtown Cola- walk to 5 Parks!

Welcome to Sunshine Over the City BNB! You will be close to everything Columbia has to offer when you stay at this centrally-located 3bed/1 bath renovated home complete with a full kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances! All you need is sleep in our comfortable king bed, queen bed, and triple bunk room perfect for kids! There's a fire pit and plenty of yard space for entertaining, as well as, being extremely convenient to Williams Brice stadium and downtown Columbia!

You have the entire 3bed/1 bath home to yourself!

You'll be very comfortable in our King bedroom with Sleigh bed, TV with ROKU, dresser, and memory foam mattress topper for premium sleep! We added a sound machine for blissful rest, as well!

There is also a Queen bedroom right across the hall complete with a comfy platform bed, nightstands, and dresser featuring navy/yellow new furnishings!

The shared hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo! We also have a dedicated workspace in the hallway with desk for any work from home needs.

The living room is spacious and invites you in with it's bright yellow furnishings, and comfortable seating along with a 4 person bar for more eating space! There's a ROKU TV for any streaming you'd like to log into and have during your stay!

The triple bunk room is perfect for kids! We have 3 single beds, a basket of toys, a bean bag chair, sound machine and nightlight. The kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless steels appliances, and seating for 4! Our kitchen table doubles as a game table with wooden chess pieces and game board! It's stocked with your kitchen basics if you'd like to cook at home, but you're close to everything downtown if you'd like to dine out! There's a washer/dryer and a few laundry pods provided. Outside, there's a spacious backyard with patio string lights, fire pit, charcoal grill (BYOCHarcoal/fluid) and bright blue Adirondack chairs to sit back, relax, and enjoy the warm South Carolina sun!

This beautifully cozy home was such a wonderful stay. Everything was easy to find and the rooms were so cozy. Food choices were close by and its not too far from in town areas.

Army graduation

We came down for an Army boot camp graduation and it was easy to get to and plenty around to do. The house was clean and have smart TVs so we could use our apps to watch movies, etc. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very nice!

Great location!

My husband, adult son and our dogs stayed at this location. Great location and really clean property. King size and queen beds-both super comfortable. Water pressure in shower was great. Lots of great items to use in kitchen. The backyard has a little fire pit. The neighborhood has some messy looking houses but it’s a quiet neighborhood and all the neighbors stayed to themselves. Would definitely stay here again. The host was super responsive and friendly

Quaint and Cozy

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunshine BnB! It was exactly as described in the listing. We had everything we needed and some things we didn't anticipate needing. We came with 3 children under the age of 10 and the triple bunk bed was a perfect option for them! The beds were comfortable and the owners thought of everything! Check-in and out was simple and all directions were clearly communicated! We chose this spot because of it's proximity to the zoo and the price was perfect! We would definitely recommend Sunshine BnB to others and would return if we were to stay in Columbia again!

Cute house and close proximity to the USC

It was a girls trip to visit my niece who attends The University South Carolina Honors College. It was nice that each of us could have our own bedroom, and I enjoyed the sound machine to get to sleep. We left below zero weather, so it was nice to be able to sit in the yard and soak up some sun. It was a great getaway!

Good Stay

We had four guys stay at the property for a couple of days. We had no problems. For the price to rent, it's about just right for what you would expect for that category. Communication with the property manager was great. I would recommend this property for those on a budget.

Perfect little house for 4

We were in town to check out the University of South Carolina. The house was perfect for what we needed. It was me and my 3 daughters. Even though the girls are 17-30 the bunk bed are was great for 2 of them! Vanessa was amazing at communication! I will definitely check out the property for availability when we come back in May to move her down.

Perfect Place for our needs

We visited Columbia, S.C. for my son’s BCT graduation at Fort Jackson. We also squeezed in a college visit for my daughter. This was the perfect place for us to stay. We felt comfortable with the house and the neighborhood. It was close to both the Graduation and the University. Check in and Check out was a breeze! The hosts were perfect and had some great recommendations of restaurants as well as sights and things to-do. It was a welcome and appreciated touch to our stay. We have had nothing but a positive experience! Will not hesitate to stay here again should we find ourselves in Columbia again.

Perfect for move in weekend

I was moving my freshman into USC and this home was perfect for us. The location to school and shopping for dorm supplies were crucial. The ac was not working on Friday night and the owners were at a wedding. They however arranged for a repair visit from the wedding. We went out to dinner and the place was fixed. I can not say enough good things about our hosts. The home was impeccable but their personal touch made this stay memorable. Did I mention they were at a wedding! I want to keep this gem for myself but must share all the goodness with others.

Great Christmas Surprise

I chose this cute property because of the location to downtown Columbia. It was just as described on VRBO. The beds and couch were very comfortable and the bonus, with children, are the bunk beds! I drove from MO to SC to surprise my grandson with tickets to Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The show started @ 3:00 but I got into town around 1:30. Check-in is 4:00pm. Venessa worked with me, getting into the property by 2:00pm. She was very quick to respond to my questions about the lock. I was able to change (clothes from driving) and had time to get to the venue. I would highly recommend Venessa's hospitality and property and will stay there in the future when going to Columbia for events!
