This new glamping tent addition to the cabins at Columbia Mountain Ranch offers travelers a memorable outdoor experience in Big Sky Country. Enjoy the natural beauty of Montana from a convenient basecamp to visit some of the state's top attractions, just 15 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Sleep under the stars in your very own safari-style tent, constructed on a wooden deck, featuring a king-size bed, plush linens, coffee bar, electricity, Adirondack deck chairs, lanterns, ice chest(ice included) and more. Spend your day enjoying thrilling “Big Sky” adventures, then return to camp and enjoy the night stars on your private deck, either with a book, a game of cards, or simply each other's company.
Restrooms and showers are available at a shared, well-maintained community building accessible via a short, lighted walkway. On-site amenities include a community kitchen, picnic area with bbq, fire pits(firewood provided!), pond with paddle boards and kayak, hammocks, board games, books and lots of natural scenery to explore.
Guests park their vehicles a short walk from their tent, wagons provided to take supplies to your tent. Cooking is not allowed in tent or tent area. Cooking facilities provided at the community kitchen and bbq picnic area. This property is a secluded, yet completely connected glamping hideaway

Just what we hoped for

The bed was so very comfortable!! The tents were separated from the cabins in a quiet setting, and the lovely view of the countryside gave us the rest, peace and quiet we needed. We had full access to the community cabin with equipped kitchen and showers and a trager bbq just for us. Our hosts were kind, informative and friendly. We will be back!!!

Peace and Quiet

Traveled without my family from Fargo to Whitefish area. Wanted to take the opportunity to stay somewhere different than a normal hotel. This property exceeded my expectations. Very friendly and approachable owners and a very clean property. I highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere different than the norm but still having amenities to make the stay comfy..

We had a great glamping experience! When we arrived the owner came over to greet us and told us everything about the place and nearby restaurants and shops. It is close to town for restaurants and groceries, and close to Glacier National Park. The location is perfect. Highly recommend!

Our tent stay at Columbia Mountain Ranch was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and warm. We woke up to a temp of 38, but we were warm under the blankets. The bathhouse is very close and lit well. I was impressed by the in tent drinking water system- such a cool, convenient feature. Oh, and the location can't be beat- 20 min to West Glacier!

It was absolutely beautiful. My husband and i came on our 2nd leg of our honeymoon and despite our first being sandy beaches, this was our favorite stay! John and his wife are the sweetest most welcoming people. Also, Jenna is so kind and welcoming as well. We stayed in the tent and met all of our needs and VIEWS! You’re only about 20 minutes away from glacier and 5 minutes away from the grocery store if needed. There was power outlets in the tent and in the Community hall there was always clean towels and amenities. You will also meet great campers. We did atleast! We already miss it. You won’t regret booking here!! Deer come and visit at dusk along with turkeys and their babies. Thank you guys once again! Already planning our next trip!

Excellent experience!!! Much more than just a place to sleep.

My sister and I stayed in the patriot tent and we loved it! It was very spacious with a comfy king size bed with quality pillows and blankets. We live in a hot climate and I was worried it would feel cold at night but it was perfect. Our host was so friendly and made us feel right at home. They did a great job of providing fun spaces for activities in common areas including fishing poles, kayaks, corn hole, volleyball and fire pits. They even had firewood and torches to start the fire and ice for our cooler, overall really nice attention to detail. We also saw deer and turkey right outside of our tent every day. Great location close to Glacier!

My brother and I loved staying here. We enjoyed the close proximity to Glacier Park’s west entrance as well as the amenities that came with our stay. We would highly recommend Columbia Mountain Ranch to anyone traveling to Glacier National Park.
