Home Away from Home

Our vacation Rental is a beautiful comfortable rental with all of the conveniences of home in a quiet neighborhood just 15 minutes from the gateway to Glacier National Park. We have goats and chickens on site. We welcome our guests to visit the goats for petting. We are also conveniently located just minutes from the small town of Columbia Falls and about 15 minutes to Glacier Airport. The town of Columbia Falls has all the conveniences of eateries, grocery stores etc. We are 5 minutes from waterslides and many more outside activities.

Marvelous Montana

What a great place! We enjoyed our stay so much, and Marni was the BEST! The setting was beautiful, the place was very clean and spacious, and it was close to GNP. Marni went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Her hospitality and our stay was top-notched! We’re ready to go back!

Great place to stay

This was a lovely place to stay. It was close to town but in a rural setting. The decor and accommodations were wonderful! We had everything we needed for a good night’s stay. We definitely recommend Home Away from Home. 😃

Great stay in the Glacier National Park/Columbia Falls area

We had a terrific stay at Marni and Bill's place. It was within about 20 minutes of the park and a perfect place to relax after long days of hiking. Everything was new and very clean. We even got to visit with the adorable goats! Beds were super comfortable! We would stay here again if we are in the area!

Beautiful area and great family rental

House is a short drive to Glacier National Park. The owners are very nice and easy to get a hold of it needed. Homemade cookies were waiting for us apon arrival. My kids loved playing with the baby goats and chickens. Definitely would stay here again!!

Home Away From Home

There is only one word for our stay, Amazing! Everything was very clean and our host was the best! My granddaughter is still talking about her! Very convenient to Glacier NP and to Columbia Falls. We will be back soon!

Great Property

Great little guest house on a small farm area. House was very clean, and there were goats and chickens in the yard you could interact with. Owner was very nice. Bedrooms were comfortable.

Lovely suite

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely suite. Marni was great to interact with and left us homemade cookies. The suite is well stocked with everything you could need, perfectly clean, and in a quiet area. We enjoyed visiting with the goats and chickens. Would recommend this property!

Loved our stay!

We were close to Glacier and everything we wanted to do. Loved having the goats to play with and the horse on other side of the house. Marni was really helpful with ideas for restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and we were greeted with fresh baked cookies and a bottle of wine. We cant wait to come back!

Lovely getaway

This Vrbo was the icing on the cake of our Glacier National Park visit. Close to the west entrance of Glacier, this home was one we enjoyed returning to each evening after hiking. My daughters loved the chickens and baby goats and Marni was such a kind hostess. We only wish we had planned more downtime into our trip so we could relax in this lovely home!

Great location, awesome stay

Marni has done a wonderful job. Tastefully decorated, well stocked, and great chocolate chip cookies upon arrival! Three bedrooms upstairs with full bath. Even has a spot with a pack & play in one bedroom. Beautiful views. Close to Glacier, restaurants, etc. communication prompt & easy. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you!

Glacier Getaway

This property may be the best vrbo we've ever stayed at. It was super clean, super comfortable and super quiet. The hosts were very friendly and responded immediately to all of our questions. It was in a great location surrounded by farm animals. It was also very close to Glacier so we did day trips there to hike in different areas. It was a great relaxing vacation! We would highly recommend booking this vrbo to anyone considering visiting Glacier!!!

This is the nicest VRBO I've ever stayed in. Beautiful rural setting. Marni was so pleasant and welcoming. We even had home baked cookies and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Beautiful home with everything you could need. Close to town for restaurants, groceries, etc. wish I could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay here!! Marni was wonderful and so friendly. Her chocolate chip cookies were delicious. So peaceful and beautiful on the farm and the accommodations were spotless. The highlight for our whole family was the baby goats! They were adorable and Marni came out and let us hold them. They were so friendly and cuddly! Great pre-wedding stay

Needed a place to stay for a couple of days with our kids and theirs while preparing for a wedding in West Glacier. This was a great place to do so. For anyone wanting to visit the park, it's conveniently located between GNP and Columbia Falls, situated nicely off the beaten path. It's so nice, clean and new I assumed it was just recently completed but was surprised to see guest book entries going back to at least 2015!

Marni is a great host with nice and friendly attitude. The unit looks fairly new and was in perfect conditions. Three roomy bedrooms upstairs, a nice kitchen and very clean bathrooms. Nice big green yard around and a wide area with dozens of chickens and a few lovely sheep’s. Highly recommended.

Glacier - Just what we needed

After a week on the road staying in hotel rooms together, this house was just what we needed. My boys each got their own rooms and we had plenty of community space. Views of the mountains from the property were beautiful and the goats and chickens were fun. The location was away from crowds, but incredibly convenient to get to Whitefish, Kalispell, Big Fork, and Glacier National Park. We loved visiting all areas. The only downside that we found was that the wi-fi seemed spotty, but most of our time was spent out and about, so not a big deal.

Fabulous and fun

Marni was an amazing host. She was there at the drop of a hat to answer questions or provide anything we needed. When we arrived, there were homemade cookies a bottle of wine and bottled water waiting for us in the refrigerator… which she kindly restart for us for the second day:). The house was incredibly clean, and well stocked! The morning we left, she took us out to meet the new baby goats and baby chicks and let us hold them! An absolutely fabulous experience and lots of fun.
