I’d spend your money elsewhere, I booked this trip for my partner and we were excited, Especially for the reviews we saw! But when we got there and were quite dissapointed when we got Into the room, There was mold on the ceiling and on the curtains. I had expressed this and nothing was done. Our sheets had what looked like blood spots, tucked In to look hidden. Called down and It took over 3 hours to get new bedding. There was almost no staff downstairs at the front desk when we’d go down. I wish I had left the hotel and went somewhere else! Don’t make the same mistake we did.

The indoor pool was interestingly placed off the lobby and seemed popular during spring break. Rooms were clean and kept well stocked.

The location was convenient for travel, but it was disappointing that the indoor pool was closed - one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. On the bright side, the breakfast was fantastic! However, the rooms could really use some TLC. Please, for the love of God, ditch the plastic mattress cover - it just makes you sweat! Remember to keep those AC filters clean. Be extra cautious in the bathroom since there's no vent, and the floors get super slippery from condensation. Despite the room needing some major upgrades like fixing the broken curtain, addressing the slippery floors, and dealing with room odors, the breakfast was definitely a highlight.

hotel was great, breakfast was delicious and the restaurant is good for snacks and quick bites. We had a police presence with riot shields and megaphone behind us at the baymont. Also the homeless presence is prevalent at the gas stations around the hotel, still worth the risk for chipotle and chick fila down the street.

We stayed for 3 nights end of March beginning of April. The pool was not able to be used due to a faulty filter. Was told this was a free amenity anyway- for this time of year, and a trip out of town it was one of the reasons we chose this establishment over others. Having it down more than 24 hours without compensation of any kind is poor business management. Rooms were sub-par cleaned with old hair and food particles. Staff overall were pretty nice but not likely to stay again.

Overall the hotel was great, i just wished they changed the breakfast menu every now and then. The 3 nights i was there it was all the same for breakfast. Regardless, its still a good choice, accessible and clean.

This was a great place to stay with kids. The restaurant was a little pricey, but entrees came with salad bar and the food was good. Unfortunately, the pool was SO crowded and lots that my kids didn't even want to go, so we missed out on that. It was packed at all hours except right after check out time. Bummer. Also, the elevator broke down during our stay and my son had a fractured foot at the time, which meant I had to carry him up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to dinner and breakfast. We would stay there again but really hope the pool is not always that crowded.

We enjoy bringing our grandkids here for fun in the pool. We love their breakfast buffet. Omelets to order, fresh waffles (line can be long depending what time you are there), biscuits and gravy, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, French toast, cereal, muffins, lots of choices, and HOT food selections. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. This was the first time we stayed that the elevator was down but they had someone there working on it on an Easter weekend! A little inconvenient but they gave me a late check out since I had three kids with me. Appears to have people sleeping in the land between the highway and the property but none were bothering us.

The common area of the hotel is nice enough with a pool, restaurant and fireplace area, and it’s located conveniently right off the highway, although just distant enough that it’s still quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and stores very close. The staff are not overly friendly and don’t seem to enjoy working there and the room, while basically clean, smelled funny. Even after I bought some room spray.

This hotel was a win-win for many reasons. Very well kept and updated, clean rooms, pleasant smell, full breakfast options (adequate for hot menu), nice central pool area, easy access for parking and kind staff. Nice that it's only two floors. We were on the top floor, super quiet. Did not hear other rooms near us - walls are insulated well. Beds and pillow options were very comfortable. Stayed in order to see if we would want to book while attending a wedding in area. Definitely will be using The Academy Hotel again.

The floor was very noisy. It seems as there may not be adequate insulation between the rooms. We had a very young child, two doors down, and it sounded as if that child were in our room. The elevator went down and almost trapped us between floors on Saturday morning as we were coming back from breakfast. I was thankful we didn't have much luggage.

The property needs a lot of repairs. The elevator broke down during their breakfast service. It was very inconvenient. Breakfasr had ZERO things that i could eat being on a cardiac diet. The pool could bot be enjoyed at all because it had over 20 kids in it at all times. The front desk staff told my bf that there were only snacks in the cending machines when monitors say there is a convenience store close to the front desk.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet. Great pool/ atmosphere. Rooms are outdated but clean. I typically like hotel pillows and am not picky about beds, but pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. Mountain views. Resturant was good - online menu and hotel food pics did not do it justice. Easy check in/ out. Would stay again.

The breakfast buffet is awesome and the whole family loves it. The pool and atmosphere in the lobby is great. The rooms need to be cleaned better there was food and a random medicine pill on the floor of my room and some hair still in the shower.

We were unable to use the pool at all due to there being 25-30 kids in the pool every evening until the pool closed. This also meant it was extremely noisy in our room. Per our reservation we were supposed to have VIP access to our room snd that was not the case. There was no such thing.

This hotel was very nice. At night it looks really cool and cozy there is a fireplace and a fountain that is relaxing. The bathroom in the room is small but manageable lol. The breakfast is good too. I really enjoyed my stay. Definitely will stay again!!
