Excellent for a big group

Our group of 14 was stunned by how beautiful the house was and how comfortable we all fit. Eric added so many extra touches that took the hospitality over the top. We loved hanging out on the pool deck, sharing a meal around the large table and playing games in the big family room. We had a perfect weekend.

What a fantastic property. It was everything I hoped for and more. The rooms were all plenty big enough & clean. The kitchen….omgoodness!! The room in it was awesome! Plus the pool. Perfect for big groups

Perfect for Large Families

We love staying at Gray Haven. This was our second visit and we already have the home reserved for another year. We love having a large kitchen to prepare meals, a dining table that will fit everyone together and all the places we can relax around the house. The host is quick to respond and very friendly. Great house for a large family!

We recently stayed here for a family gathering, accommodating 12 kids aged 1 to 13 and 7 adults. The house had plenty of space for our large group and lots of toys for the kids. All the kids loved playing in the pool. One thing that stood out was how well-stocked the house was, perhaps the best I've seen in our Vrbo experiences. There were plenty of snacks available upon our arrival, which was a nice touch.The house itself is beautiful and looks just as it does in the pictures. Overall, it served our needs well for the gathering. It’s a solid option for anyone looking to host a large family get-together.

Family reunion

Gray Haven cottage was even better than the photos! It was set up for large family groups, kid safety features, playground and pool were loved by all! Very clean too! Lots to do nearby: beaches, blueberry picking, small town shopping, hiking! We will try to come here again! Highly recommend it to all!

This is a beautiful home and property, inside and out. Large open spaces, yet cozy at the same time. The pool and firepit were enjoyed by all. Close to beach towns, wineries and activities but you really don't need to leave the house to have an amazing vacation. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay for a yearly family reunion! Large open dining area/ living room (and multiple board games/ toys), huge kitchen for cooking/ cleaning (with everything you need, including griddle for pancakes, tea/ coffee selection, welcome goodies, and grilling tools), and pool with locked fence (child safety!). Secluded area surrounded by woods. Easy check-in/ check-out process. Great communication with owner. We did not leave the house all weekend. Definitely recommend!

Our family of 20 (grandparents, kids, grandkids) loved this house! The house had plenty of space to spread out when we were stuck inside on rainy days. There are so many areas to lounge, play board games, and for the kids to run around. The kitchen is huge! We had 8 adults cooking at once and still had room for more. Our family of 17 loved our stay at this property. The house has a unique design which allows for additional privacy (and fun!) by its layout. The kids loved the lofts; we all loved sitting on the porch area. The playscape (and really the whole house) is larger than it appears in the photos, as is the pool. The side yard is nicely mowed allowing for yard games and activities. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. We had several questions in advance of our stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this location!!

A spot with great indoors and outdoors

This house is a wonderful place for a family trip. Its size and delightfully unusual layout (including its extremely large number of beds and enormous great room) are hard to describe adequately. Also worthy of note is the kitchen, which was equipped with everything even a gourmet chef could dream about. Perhaps the best part, though, is the family-oriented outdoor areas, including a terffic heated swimming pool (which we stayed in for entire afternoons) and deck, a large covered porch, a fire pit with a gargantuan quantity of firewood and a huge grassy play area made for kids and dogs. Even with some rainy weather, we could not have had a better long weekend.

Gorgeous!!

We booked this property for our bridal party during our wedding weekend.The house is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and spacious. We had 17 adults total staying there and we had so much room to spread out and enjoy ourselves! We enjoyed a bonfire with everyone sitting outside, chilling on the porch in the evenings, swimming in the pool during the day, and hanging out in the massive kitchen. My parents booked the property next door which was so nice having them right down the driveway. It's super close to the nearby wedding venues and downtown St. Joseph. Highly recommend!

Great House for Large groups

This house is outstanding for large groups. The central room for meeting, dining and watching tv, etc is huge and has several places to sit and visit. The bedrooms are great and the number of bathrooms is great as well. The pool was just perfect for our crew with the maximum depth good for our smaller children but deep enough for all to enjoy. The fire pit was great for smores and visiting at night. The playground was great as well. The whole house had enough gates to prevent falls from our children and the outside yard was huge with great privacy. Plenty of toys, seating and overall joy in the whole house. I recommend this house for sure.

50th wedding anniversary

The property was everything we thought it would be and more. We drove up from South Florida for our anniversary. We chose this instead of a big hall party so we could spend some quality time and too make memories with our children, grand kids and couple of the boys girlfriends. Very clean and spacious. Eric was great and readily available. He even went out of his way to bring us a few extension cords for movie night outside by the fire. We HIGHLY recommend this property.

Friends getaway!

Our large group stayed here to celebrate with frie ds before our upcoming wedding. We wanted a relaxing weekend and that's exactly what we got!! The house was clean, well maintained, and stocked with all of the essentials. The pool was clean and ready for use. The owners were easily accessible by phone and messaging theough VRBO. The only (very minor) downfall was the lack of internet. We had planned some games/activities that required wifi that we were unable to complete. No worries though because they had plenty of other games and activities available. Our friends are already talking about returning next summer! Highly recommend!

Great big house!

Our family of 12 adults and 11 kids stayed at this amazing house over a long weekend for a family get together. There was space to spread out, board games, toys, a playground, fire pit (lots of wood too) and large yard, pool and deck area. The huge kitchen and tables made meal times and storing all the food and drinks easy. Microwave, coffee machine, large freezer, mixer, lots of cooking utensils and plenty of plates, bowls, and silverware for all of us. The grocery store is only a few miles away if anything is needed. We really enjoyed hanging out on the porch and watching the kids play. The pool and playground are fenced in. The house sits back off the road allowing our dog and grandkids to run around and have fun freely. It’s clean, nicely decorated and there were TVs in every bedroom (although not a ton of free channels). The beds were comfortable, but there is only one queen on the main floor. All the other beds are either up or down stairs. One loft is by ladder only. No problem for most, but it was clear which bedroom grandma and grandpa had to have. Plenty of bathrooms (3 toilets on the main floor and 2 downstairs). Laundry is also downstairs. There were more than enough bath towels and amenities. The owner was also close by and very attentive. There are tons of things to do in the area including the beach, a water course, indoor waterpark, blueberry picking and more. We explored a little, but mostly just had a fabulous time being all together in this great big house.

Excellent house for a large gathering. The best equipped kitchen I have ever seen, a large lawn for playing catch and a big fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We were a group of 13 and we cooked and hung out comfortably all weekend. Would absolutely come again.

The house was wonderful! Perfect for the 17 of us(ranging in ages from 64-3months).The kitchen had very thing you needed and we never felt cramped.Absolutely loved the big dinning room table so we could all eat together!We used the pool everyday-couldn’t get the kids out of it!We hope to return soon-thank you.
