Absolutely beautiful 5 star hotel with two restaurants and a lovely bar. This hotel is directly across from the Dom church. Staff were excellent and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel!

It is close to the train station and the busy Cathedral Cologne and there can be some sense of a lot of people - but once you step inside it's a fabulous retreat. Great service, we had a beautiful room. The breakfast is very expensive and just "okay" so go across the street to the Cafe Richard. Close to the "historical sections" and close to the water. Would stay here again for sure.

Smoking smell whenever using bathroom. Noise due to the unit undergoing a construction on the hallway. Shower drain does not drain properly, really really slow: while taking a shower, water stands up to ankle bone.

The hotel nickel and dimes you for every and anything. Not friendly to English speaking people. There is a gorgeous goth cathedral across the street that is definitely worth the visit. Nothing else in walking distance. Shop owners are rude too.

It’s located right in front of the dome and next to the train station so the location was perfect. As a 5 star hotel though, the internet connection was sporadic and I had to ask for tea. There was no complimentary coffee either. And the front desk staff members did their job. The room was rather outdated and showed wear and tear. I hated the big ole’ heavy key, but some might find them charming.

Service, staff, facilities are excellent and the hotel is extremely clean. The only thing that I would like to suggest is a complementary breakfast for suites.
