Its an old hotel, with large strips of paint peeling of the bathroom ceiling. I can live with it as it was clean. Breakfast ... was pretty bad. Only options were toast, yogurt and spoiled batter panckages the size of a half dollar coin. Made me wish I hadn't eaten them shortly after as I ran to the restroom. I was disappointed.

Really had no problems. Forgot what a 2-star hotel was like. Beds were comfortable and for the most part, the room was clean. Random stains found around, but it wasn't a big deal. Don't expect a lot, except the basic necessities. If that's all you need, you'll get a good deal here. Breakfast was basic, but Buc-ee's is right down the road if you need a cheap breakfast.

This is a basic motel but rooms are clean and the staff friendly. We've stayed here 3 or 4 times after Aggie Football games and has generally been a good value option. Right across the highway from Bucees which is important if you want much for breakfast. The breakfast area at the hotel, while bright and clean, doesn't offer much. It has a pancake conveyor belt machine and muffins,etc but no yogurt, eggs, etc that you find at many hotel breakfast offerings.

Nice, clean! motel

We just needed a clean, quiet place to stay for the night before moving on up the road. We were pleasantly surprised by this small motel in Madisonville. Most significantly, the room was very clean and had no tobacco, pet, or mildew smells that seem so prevalent in this industry. The front desk staff were polite and very helpful.

Service upon arrival was good and individual checking is was very nice and helpful. The room keys didn’t work but worker came right away to open our door. Once entering our room it smelt soooo smoky and when we left and got back home our suitcases and anything we had with us in the room still smells like smoke.

It’s a decent older property, tucked away off the highway. Lots of food options close, the breakfast they offer is very carb & bread based with limited hot options. They are first come first serve, unless you can talk the attendant into providing more. The rooms can stand some more updating focused on the tub/showers, door locks/security, & finishing trim.

For what I consider a premium rate you do not get premium accommodations or service. Our room appeared clean, the AC worked great and we had a place to sleep and shower. The ceiling had water damage and was peeling, several of the lights in the room and bathroom were burned out and needed replacement and so it was always dark in the room. Opening the curtains wouldn’t even provide enough light. We were in for the George Strait concert at Kyle Field. I would consider these accommodations a “one and done” kind of place. Stay one night because you don’t have a choice and need a place to rest and shower but otherwise I don’t recommend. There was a Bucees nearby some were able to gas up and get out Bucees fix before heading out the next morning.
