The property has very specific instructions to get into the building including using WiFi to gain access to a link the opens a pop up on your phone to release the door. This was new to me, and I was nervous standing on the street making all of the steps happen. The building is covered in graffiti which was a bit shocking to us as we arrived. Other travelers had not mentioned the building's exterior, but it is available on Google Maps street view. The Ludovisi parking across the road was convenient and easy to find parking. The cost of parking there was about 25 euros/day which isn't bad. "The exterior of the hotel is beautiful. It is centrally located in Rieti as well. So, if you are wanting to stay in the city center, I would recommend this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind as well. But be warned, this hotel has been touched since ~ 1950ish. To say it the hotel is outdated would be an understatement. "

"Great location to explore up Via Roma. Beautiful view up and down the river. Everything worked as expected in the room. A really lovely breakfast is included with a broad range of options all very fresh. But the best is the two guys in the breakfast lounge who made the drinks. Sadly I thought my wife had asked their names and she thought I had. Just sorry I can’t give a more personal shout out to them!"

"Beautiful property and very helpful and friendly staff. Very thankful for strong air conditioning when getting ready for a wedding. The only downside was not having the ability to order food at the property. Since you really can’t walk easily to town I would recommend stocking up on some food for snacks."

"The room was very outdated, it smelled like an unventilated room, there were cobwebs on the walls, the shower was really small, The picture of the room on the website does not resemble the room we got. The only thing that stood out was the view from the lake in the morning"
