Podere Fontemaggio is located in Campiglia, a small town in the municipality of Colle Val d'Elsa in the province of Sienna on the road to Volterra. From this wonderful and peaceful panoramic position the view stretches form the Montagnola Senese to San Gimignano. Podere Fontemaggio is a typical Tuscan agricultural settlement with old stone buildings, amid lovely olive-groves. Our family lives here and here are the apartments and holiday houses for our guests, which can accommodate from 2 to 4 people and are furnished with great taste and vintage furniture. Guests can enjoy a swimming-pool and the garden for a quiet and relaxing holiday in Tuscany, suitable also for couples with children. The pool is shared with the other guests of the property.

  • Cascate del Diborrato - Parco fluviale dell'Elsa Inside the residential area of Colle Val d'Elsa is a historic and natural landscape of enormous value thanks to the Elsa River which crosses the Val d'Elsa creating a unique territory. The river creates enchanting corners for hiking and observing: the engineering works for gathering water, the artifical canal system for carrying the water to the city, the caves. A particularly suggestive point is the Diborrato water falls, a 15m jump which is more than 10m deep, a sort of small lake where the locals used to go to cool off.
