"Place was very clean. Bathrooms do not have air. On One of the beds the pillow cases had mascara on them. Beds were comfortable . The owner communicated well with us. Loved the coffee bar. Very peaceful location !!! Loved the back area with view of the lake . Thank you for a great stay ! "

"I had to come to Brownwood for work training, and I wanted to stay somewhere quiet on the water. This place DID NOT DISSAPOINT. The owners were awesome, I had to stay an unexpected extra day. I will definitely stay here every time I come here for training. I really was a nice peaceful week! I would 12/10 recommend. "

"Our first time to stay in treehouse type VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised with this experience. David has done an amazing job to create the perfect setting for peace and relaxation. We loved it and look forward to staying at other options on this property. Hanging out with nature including hummingbirds, cows, horses, beautiful views was just what we needed. We will be back in the near future!!"

"It was the right size for our family gathering. I would say it was built in the 1960s, so it has some age on it. We all enjoyed the spacious living room, nice-sized kitchen and 2 full baths and a half bath. We had to clean the outdoor areas. Very dirty. The frig door was full of used itemd. Pots and pans old, grungy and unusable."

"If you are coming to Brownwood, this is an excellent place to stay! It is clean and bug free. Moonyeen and Don were absolutely wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to every request or question we had. They were both so kind and helpful. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed. The house is nice and affordable.
