  • Welcome to Hillside Cottage! Stay and relax at this newly renovated home (completely rebuilt in 2019) located a couple short blocks from downtown Cody. Searching for a home away from home? Hillside Cottage is the vacation home for you.

    This beautiful home has a new house feel as soon as you walk through the door. The cottage is the perfect size for two couples or a small family looking to enjoy the area! The exterior is very inviting with on street parallel parking and off-street parking. The gray and white color scheme of the living room is adorned with beautiful black and white photos of a buffalo and Scottish highlander along with a gorgeous mountain painting! Furniture consists of a swivel recliner, another gorgeous circular swivel chair and a comfortable sofa with a queen-sized sofa sleeper. There is also a 50" smart TV for guests to stream their own programs. Walking further into the home you will find a large kitchen area great for cooking dinners, it has a counter bar with four beautiful live edge wood stools. There is also a little breakfast bar with another live edge countertop and stools. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, Keurig, crock pot and more! If you are looking for a relaxing night sleep the bedrooms have you covered. Bedroom 1 is right off the living room and has a cool mountain feel to it with light green walls and a queen bed. Bedroom 2 is off the kitchen and has yellow/orange hues which flood your senses with the feelings of a warm sunny day and has a queen bed. The hall bathroom is spacious and has a step-in shower and vanity area along with a large, frosted window that allows in lots of natural light. For your convenience there is also a stacked washer and dryer in the closet next to the kitchen.

    Looking to enjoy time outside? This home has spacious and private backyard featuring a large grass lawn, concrete patio with outdoor seating and gas BBQ grill. Come enjoy your time in Cody while staying at Hillside Cottage!

We had planned to visit Yellowstone and heard about Cody, I found Hillside Cottage. This was a great home, very clean close to downtown and loved the backyard that we grilled steaks after a day at Yellowstone. We will definitely be back our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at house on the hill in Cody. Nice quiet neighborhood, very clean and cozy house. Check in was super easy. I would highly recommend staying at this location when you are in Cody.

Weekend trip

Cozy spot near downtown

Comfortable and clean accommodations for a couple or small family, in a cozy neighborhood within walking distance of several downtown venues. This cottage could be a good alternative for some of the local hotels, although it is limited in storage for clothing (no dressers). Common amenities (i.e. kitchen utensils, silverware and dishes; spices and condiments; toilet paper; etc.) for our stay were limited, but sufficient. We would consider renting here again for a few days, but probably not for an extended vacation.

Lovely Stay in Cody at Hillside Cottage

Carefully orchestrated with information and support to make one's arrival, stay and departure smooth. Clearly recently renovated, everything one needs to feel at home is there and furnished with a touch of western class. Walking distance to Sheridan St short and kitchen well equipped for a meal at home, including outdoor grille. Comfortable bedding and spotless bathroom. Living room seating just right. Parking in drive or out front. Great experience all around!!

Wonderful home

We enjoyed our stay at the Hillside Cottage. It does look like a new home and is welcoming. The kitchen is large with everything you need. There were plenty of keurig pods for the coffee maker. The patio is a great place to relax and the neighborhood deer are fun to watch. The scent of the lilacs was amazing. The beds are comfortable which is always important and I specifically look for in reviews. It was our first trip through Cody and would stay there, again. We met the owner and she was very nice.
