"Spacious, clean and up to date apartment. Loved the two balconies- one was facing the water and the second facing a courtyard, looking up into the hills. Good soundproofing and could not hear most beach noise, wave runners, or sounds blasting from sandals. Best part was we could take the stairs off of the balcony and be at the beach quickly. Air conditioning was great on both floors. We loved picking mangoes which were in season. They have at least two mango trees that we found. Again, the beach view was wonderful."

6/10 Okay
"I traveled with 5 of my bridesmaids for my bachelorette trip. Half of us stayed in what was supposed to be an upgraded Diamond Club room. The day of check in, they did not get access to their room until 9PM. They were given a hospitality room with a sink and shower and forced to shower and change. When they complained and requested compensation for the inconvenience, they were only offered a bottle of alcohol which we all felt was not sufficient. The best place to eat on the resort is Haven Grill. The steakhouse was very mid and bland. I liked my lasagna at the Italian restaurant but some of the girls did not like their food. The chicken wings in the sports bar were also really good and the female bartender in there made the best drinks on the resort (ask for a passionfruit martini). The spa was also beautiful. Julissa did my 80 minute Hot stone massage and it was perfect. The hydrotherapy pools were also complimentary when you book a spa service. The resort does provide daily entertainment, however, it caters to Caucasian tourists. My friends and I are all of Caribbean descent and were disappointed with the quality of entertainment for our demographic. The staff members who made and served our drinks at the various bars around the resort really made our stay memorable : Yoan, Courtney, Adrian and Marlon went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and our cups were never empty."
"So overall if you want a quiet relaxing vibe with good food this is the place to stay.
Positives
-Price point was very reasonable vs value
-Food was arguably the best I’ve had at an all inclusive
-most bartenders were good, shout out to Andrew who always killed it.
-The pool itself was a great size
-pool loungers/beds were very nice
-The women at the check in are pleasant and helped book our stingray trip which was cheaper than online.
-Balcony was nice
Negatives
-The shower water had a mind of its own and went from alternating boiling to ice bath, played with it enough to have it be usable
-The beach needs to be raked it wasn’t useable with all the seaweed, once a week at the least would make the world of difference
-There should be some kind of spread for between lunch and dinner, with it not being a buffet there should be real snacks/fruit not random breads.
-There should be some kind of activities, we left the resort a lot because there was nothing to do.
Overall if your going for a couple days and just want to eat good and Rot on a sunbather than this is 100% the place for you. If you want something lively with some activities then this is the exact opposite."

2/10 Terrible
"No life guards on the beach ever. Beach food shack ran out of buns at 1pm and closed for the day. Cafe/icecreambar was empty every day. Restaurants are not actually available 7 days a week. Antigua governor and staff showed up and shut down the main buffet to “tourists” forcing them to sit outside in a back corner with pans on hot plates&only like 7options. Power went out in our room multiple times every night. Pool has tiles melting away causing hazard. No handle on outside balcony. Sports bar hands you a menu then you go to order and they tell you oh we don’t have that and only actually have 2 items total on the whole menu. Also not very wheelchair accessible throughout resort. Also staff locks the bathrooms near the pool all day so they don’t have to clean them. Terrible service and out of all royalton resorts I’ve been to this is the most disappointing. Only serves bread and pasta pretty much when the buffet is actually available. I could say more but I’m running out of space. This is truly embarrassing and awful. Save your money."
"Definitely would stay her again the room/ property was very clean the staff was very nice and friendly very close to a lot of things and especially the airport the only thing I would recommend a lil entertainment every now and then I also didn’t really like the food on the resort way overpriced I went off the resort to eat and and also there is a lot of mosquitoes which I know is out of the resorts control"
"The Northshore Seaside Suites Antigua is not your typical anonymous resort, but a charming family-run hotel with an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the very first day, I felt more like a guest staying with friends than at a hotel. That personal touch is exactly what makes Northshore so special and sets it apart from many larger all-inclusive resorts on Antigua.
The location directly at Hodges Bay is beautiful — peaceful, relaxing, and with stunning ocean views. I especially appreciated the combination of apartment-style comfort and attentive hotel service. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning felt truly calming.
One of the absolute highlights for me was the restaurant. The Italian-inspired cuisine is excellent and feels authentic rather than touristy. The homemade pasta, fresh seafood, and relaxed waterfront atmosphere made every dinner memorable. You can really tell that the food is prepared with passion and attention to detail.
If you are looking for a classic five-star luxury resort experience, this may not be the right place for you. But if you appreciate tranquility, authenticity, personal hospitality, and outstanding food, Northshore is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing Antigua getaway. For me, it was exactly the laid-back and family-oriented atmosphere that made the experience so special."
"Fantastic property. Beautiful beach and always a friendly staff member to set up a beach chair and umbrella for you... Not many restaurants around and the ones that are seemed pricey. We went to th grocery store and made great ise of th in room kitchens and bbq under the gazebo... Great fun. "
"Everything was outstanding…property was beautiful and well maintained, staff were all very friendly and helpful ( special shout to Tiquesha the concierge who helped us plan all our dinner reservations and chartered snorkeling/boat trip). Beach and pools were spectacular and the restaurants had great food and selections. Will definitely be back again!"
