Buffalo City is the only place along the Great River Road that you don’t have to cross a railroad track or major highway to get to the river.

We travel in September so it was quiet. Lots of biking available. Great courtyard with lots of activity. Restaurant close by. Beautiful weather. Very relaxing. Wonderful chairs to relax in.
