Good Stay in Cochem
Difficult to find. the room was OK. There was no Elevator. Breakfast was good. Once oreintated it was easier to find way around. The castle tour was great and informative.

Good...simple...perfect for short stays. Would be good have at least a FAN since summer is hot, didn't understand why Germany in general doest gave a sime fan in all hotel's room

VJ & Olga were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble ... we will be booking again, we look forward to meeting them again. Room was great, breakfast was excellent .. no complaints

Easy check-in, although they were only open for check-in at 3, not 12 as it said on the website I looked at. Secure garage for our bicycle, but charged 3 Euros to use it. Clean, quiet, great breakfast. The location was not right in the centre of the old town, but a 5 minute walk to the main square.

Parking is a problem, annexe was unfinished
Parking at Hotel Holl is NOT free, and on our first night (booked months in advance) there wasn't even a parking space available, we had to park in a local multi-storey car park and get up at 6.30 am to feed the meter. Our room was in an annexe up a rickety metal temporary staircase, into an unfinished building. The bathroom inside door handle was broken, there was a hole up on the wall beside the window filled with open wires, wallpaper was peeling over the bathroom door, there was no table so nowhere to put a laptop or a suitcase apart from on the floor, there was no chair so nowhere to sit apart from on the bed. The bathroom mirror was well lit but set so far back from the basin that you couldn't see yourself in it anyway. The receptionist was pleasant and the bed was comfortable, these were the only two redeeming features, I would never stay here again
