"Austin was an amazing host with great dining recommendations in the area, including Cooperstown and the surrounding smaller towns, which were surprisingly good. Breakfast included lots of cereal, fruit, yogurt and other cold options, but the highlight was Austin's awesome waffles, his specialty. His real specialty is his getting to know guest's names, home towns, etc. and his friendly manner that encouraged lots of conversation at breakfast. The rooms met my wife's high standard for cleanliness. The decor was homy and a bit kitschy with baseball themed lamps, which of course was a nod to the baseball hall of fame. It is located out in the country, but we enjoyed driving the winding roads through the lakes and forests of upstate New York. One more important thing to note - when we checked in, Austin let us know that somehow in the booking through Expedia we were overcharged. We had no idea, but Austin took immediate action to rectify the bill and refund the difference"

"Loved this place! Will definitely stay again. Great location, the view of the lake was amazing from our room and balcony. Everything was so clean, and it was just a perfect stay. Bed was comfortable, the shower was good. Only suggestion, and not a complaint.. maybe safety rails in the shower for those of us who need a little help with balance."

"The home was everything we were looking for. It gave us the relaxation and solitude we were looking for. It was the perfect distance for everywhere we wanted to be.
