"The property is beautiful, with lush gardens. Very nice restaurant, great breakfast. Very quiet hotel, short walk to the center square. Staff is super kind and helpful. The only con: My son and I stayed here for 3 nights and all 3 nights the shower was too cold ( not unusual in Guatemala)"

"The room was very small. The bathroom floor was one step higher than the room, which could be dangerous when one gets up at night to use it due to poor lighting and sleepiness. However, these are all minor issues comparing with what we encountered upon check-in at the front desk. We were told that while Expedia informed the hotel of my reservation, it didn't send the payment to the hotel, so I had to pay to the hotel. I made a credit card payment as demanded, and recieved only a credit card...
