"Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast and bar area was very comfortable… too comfortable actually. We had a great 2 day break. Nothing was to much trouble for the owner and staff."

"We had a lovely stay at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Carmarthen from the 4th to 8th June! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless nothing was too much trouble for the cleaners! If we were going to Carmarthen again we would definitely stay there again! Jean and Nigel Francis, room 2"

"Spilman hotel was a delight. Our‘Executive’ room was spacious and well fitted out. Breakfasts were served to order and well cooked and presented. The hotel spreads across the space between two town centre roads. There is a very tight entry to the car park which includes at least 2 EV chargers. There is no evening meal facility but there are some excellent options in and around King Street."

"The Inn was in good order, the staff were pleasant and efficient. Our evening meal was good and the choices available were good. The room was clean and tidy although small. The wash basin was inconveniently small and we were unable to get hot water out of the tap ; we ran it for a long time but it remained stubbornly cold! I resorted to boiling the kettle so that I could shave. The hot water supplied to the shower was okay. The Saturday night entertainment was very loud and appeared to be directly below our room, which was unfortunate."
