  • This hideaway cottage/cabin is fully equipped with everything from home. Enjoy the creek sounds from the back porch at night watching the fireflies dance by. Brevard, NC is only 20 minutes away, Dupont State Park is 10 minutes away, Davidson River and Sliding Rock in Brevard is a highlight of Brevard. Pretty Place (Camp Greenville) 10 mins away perfect for wedding ceremonies. Bedrooms, Master has a King Bed on the main floor, Upstairs loft has 2 queens, and bedroom we call Eagle's Nest has a twin bed. Sleeps 7.

We brought in the new year 2026 at this cabin. To our surprise, it was much better in person than the pictures. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep very warm feeling well and well decorated. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to go to the mountains. Caesars head State Park is nearby and Brevard and Pisgah Forest is a close drive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Creek. The back porch was delightful with our morning coffee and the daily visits from the hummingbirds host was very accommodating with all of our requests. We would stay there again for another month with without any hesitation.

Restful Springtime Holiday

Perfect spot for a peaceful holiday in nature. Great location for walking trails and cycling. We also enjoyed spending time in Brevard. It's a lovely welcoming town with lots of creative vibes and a great bookshop. Earth Mountain Bicycle (bike hire/shop), Brevard Yoga Studio and Brevard Pottery are all highly recommended.

Time to relax and reset

Bear Creek is very inviting, well stocked and comfy. The back porch is amazing for morning coffee and the fire pit is perfect to end the night with a cocktail. Exactly what we needed to visit with dear friends, relax and reset after a few crazy months.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful area

We had the most wonderful stay - 3 weeks in the Carolina Mountain Wilderness. This place is surrounding with parks full of waterfalls and windy roads, woods and trails and places to wander. We also explored Brevard, Asheville, Hendersonville and they were full of great art galleries and shops and restaurants. This is a 5 star vacation place in 5 star lodgings

Bear creek vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. We unfortunately were evacuated due to wildfires in the middle of the week and Jan was very helpful, caring and accommodating for us as we had to leave abruptly in the middle of the night. Otherwise the property is beautiful. The cabin is spacious and feels like home and we loved the kitchen and location to near rivers and waterfalls.

We chose this place because it was close to where I am currently working. My family was able to come up and spend a week with me while I still went to work. Very clean, well appointed home with multiple baths and the bonus of a washer and dryer. Clear check in process, spacious great room with gas logs. We enjoyed returning after our hikes. Recommended.

Sweet little cabin paradise

The Bear Creek cabin is just precious! We were so comfortable and had everything we needed to cook every night. It is right next to Caesars Head State park which has tons of sights, trails, and falls! 6 miles from Pretty Place which was the inspiration for this trip for me! Great great experience!

Gorgeous Mountain Escape

Our family had a great time at this wonderful cabin. Just far enough off the beaten path to feel truly remote, but took us less than 30 minutes to get into Brevard for some groceries we forgot to buy beforehand. Hiked some, but spent much of the weekend beside the fire.
