We had a wonderful week staying at this property in Cleggan. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The views from the house were stunning and we were able to just relax and enjoy.
The location was fab and near enough to lots to see and do. We stay in Connemara regularly, and this house was really fabulous.
The photos do not do the cottage and surroundings justice as whilst they are spectacular the “real” thing is breathtaking.
Everything you need is there. State of the art appliances, lots of cutlery and cookware and more than enough hot water.
The log fire 🔥 is hypnotic and adds an extra ambience. The house was immaculately clean and so easy to find and checkin was very easy.
We will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪❤️

Rustic Romantic
A beautiful Stone Cottage in the misty Plains of Western Irland. We enjoyed our stay very much! A couple of suggestions for improvement... there was no light for returning in the dark and entering through the back door. There seemed to be lamps with movement detectors on the outside of the house but they did not work. Also we were told to keep the Gate shut to keep the sheep out - however one day when we returned the gate had been opened after we had shut it. The restaraunt in town Olivers was a life saver with really great food and always open! Thanks for the pleasant stay!

Wonderful comfy cottage - will be returning
My only minor observation - not even a complaint- it would be nice to have a mirror opposite the drive as I had several "momenrts" with cars speeding from the right. Other than that everything was perfect & I look fprward to returning next year.

Cosy cottage
Had lovely stay in cosy house with all amenities that we required. We brought own BBQ but house very well equipped. Would recommend for future staycations
Fantastic views down into Cleggan harbour from both the kitchen and the living room. Perfect location to explore the beautiful beaches and coastline of Connemara. If you want to drop off the grid and discover you again then look no furthwr
Our cottage was spacious, bright, with wonderful sunset views from dining and living room. As it was cool summer weather the heating helped hugely making it nicely cosy as the wind swirled around us.

Family Holiday - July 21
We had a lovely weeks family holiday in July. The house is the perfect base for touring Conemara. The house had everything we needed for a weeks stay - it was plenty big and towels, bedding etc were provided. a minor fault was that curtains, bedding etc looked like they were 25+ years old. In summary, we found the house to be very good value and location for exploring Conemara.

A lovely location with a fabulous view
We had a lovely stay here recently despite the misty grey weather! The house was very spacious for 7 adults and lovely location with view of the sea and nearby beaches. Problems with the hot water lead to many cold showers but was being looked into with good customer service. Would love to stay here again!

Nice and value times in Connemara with the complete family.
We had a wonderful time in this very nice cottage 118 and we enjoyed the silence and the view of the sea.
Every thing was fine and the equipment of the cottage was perfect too.
It was, with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms big enough to spent nice times with our hole family.
If we come back to stay for holidays in connemara, we will book at "love connemara cottages" again.

A bit of heaven
The O'Malley's cottage is magical. The most beautiful possible setting imaginable, overlooking the Cleggan harbor, and surrounded by heathered fields, this is a clean, comfortable, and luxurious house. Our caretaker Mary was so helpful. Our group of five adults used the cottage as a departure point for hiking and biking and it was great to return to such a pleasant and warm home at the end of the day. Cleggan is a sweet town with great restaurants and pubs; for fresh fish, seek out the local fisherman for same day catch (ask at the grocery store). Thank you for a great stay!
