  • When I am out with my camera, I look for something inspiring, something different that I can capture and often print to create an everlasting memory for myself and my friends. Few of the things that I love capturing are stunning reflections, colors, landscapes and skylines. I returned to this park almost after three years and wasn't disappointed at all. Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. Loved!

We loved everything about our visit from the great drive down the winding road to the delicious ice cold spring water! Our yurt was adorable, perfectly situated and cozy. We walked miles all weekend and enjoyed gorgeous snow. Excellent chef who made marvelous meals and the property manager Darcy was a joy to be around and a kind soul who embodied the peacefulness of the resort.

Great location and excellent services!

The staff was amazing and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. We’d highly recommend this place and plan to return for another stay soon! We stayed in the yurt and it was 23 degrees one night. We had to turn down all heater!! The set up is a perfect for winter too!

Relaxing Outdoor Stay with the Right Amount of Comfort

The property is beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The owner is very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Mike and Montana were very helpful as well. We spent a great weekend making fires, eating s'mores, and exploring the creek. Our kids loved sleeping in the glamping tent and playing with the dogs that lived on the property. Great weekend overall!
