"Probably one of the cleanest best westerns I’ve stayed In has very good breakfast choices actually better than some of the high end hotels. The only complaint I really have is our 1st night there at 11 pm we had some people above us being extremely loud slamming things around and just being all together inconsiderate when I called to the front desk he was very dismissive of my concerns when I called back at 2 he still made excuses for them but he did say he’d call we listened to them for almost 30 minutes was pretty upsetting and made the the 1st night terrible the next day was more enjoyable and had friendly staff"

"Check in was supposed to be at 4:00. Due to short staff we did not get checked until 6:15. Front desk was supposed to call me when they had our room. He said he tried but I did not have a missed call from him. The rest of our stay was nice!"

"My wife and I did not like this hotel. This hotel is completely enclosed. We did not realize that all the rooms face inward on the pool, movie area, and play area. You can smell the chlorine from the pool in the rooms. The Wall facing inward is mostly glass with curtains. It does not keep out the light from the inner areas. The room we stayed in had a door jam that was just replaced, did not function well, and was not painted to look like the rest of the door jam. We had broken tile in the bathroom. If you have children, this hotel seemed to cater to that. Due to the pool, the carpet in the hallways had bumps and was a tripping hazard to older people. We were able to sleep OK, after 10pm as the pool and other activities are shut down. I will not stay here again"

"I travel a lot in Amarillo is always my stopping point on my way to Arizona. I love staying at this hotel. It is priced appropriately, very clean, in a great location, the staff is always super sweet and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this specific Microtel property-it has to be one of the best in the country and I’m not lying. I’ve stated others, and they are not nearly as nice as this, and the staff is first class. I was up gone early in the morning on a Sunday before the breakfast was out and the overnight worker who I saw when I walked in was putting stuff out and had coffee made. I needed that coffee to get moving on my way and for a free hotel breakfast , the standard fare , this one is always good. Not stale or letting stuff sit there too long then it looks like crap. I mean if you want delicious go to waffle House… and I mean that too but solid place Love staying here. Big props to the workers. Pay them more and give them raises."
