This property has everything you want for a group get together. Tons of large bedrooms, communal space, things to do. 10/10 no notes, would gladly stay here again.
Lots of room to spread out, both inside and out. A remote bedroom that allowed for quiet time for younger to take naps without interfering with everyone ability to socialize. Nice and big yard to play fetch with the dog. Overall, a very relaxing place.

Great House!
This is the second year in a row that my friends and I have stayed here. It accommodates our group very well! Some love sitting on the porch while others love playing yard games (Cornhole, kan jam or many others)! Then in the evenings we would find ourselves starting up a fire in the fire pit and sitting around it until we all started to get tired. To where we would find enough beds for everyone! We love this place and we will be back!!
20+ of us from age 3 to age 60+ stayed at this property for several days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Everything was very clean on our arrival and the kitchen, etc is well stocked. So much space..... inside and out...... Highlights included the fantastic fire pit, the pond with its fish and turtles, the deck and large yard for playing kickball, bocce, cornhole and just hanging out. The gazebo was fantastic. We went to the small, public beach at Clark Lake a couple times as well as the local playground. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return!

Best property booking.... ever!
I've stayed in many property bookings, so saying this has been the very best means something. The cabin and property were amazing - we fit our extended family for a graduation weekend easily. There was plenty of gathering space, but there were also places where you could find solitude and quiet. There were so many activities available, our problem was not having enough time for everything. The cabin was well stocked with EVERYTHING you might need and the property was expansive and peaceful. The owners (or property managers) were very responsive and considerate. Hands down, this place was fabulous!
We booked this property for a group of us who have been friends for 35 years to celebrate a few birthdays. This property has the space and amenities we were looking for, and many we didn't know we wanted. The giant JBL speakers and magnificent espresso machine were massive hits. If we had known about the many different outdoor cooking options, we would have planned food differently, but we did use the Blackstone to make a mountain of pancakes. Between the four lounge areas, the outdoor pavilion, and the basement game room, there were plenty of spots for simultaneous noisy and quiet pastimes. Getting familiar with the light switches took some effort, but everything worked, and the Wi-Fi speed was excellent.

A second wonderful stay at this house
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. 19 of us (aged 4 to 70) spent a long weekend enjoying the beautiful, spacious yards including the fabulous fire pit which was a highlight each evening. The outdoor lighting is spectacular! The house was clean and well stocked. We loved spending time in the gazebo.... eating lunch or dinner or having a birthday party for our almost 5 year old! The kitchen including fridge was plenty big enough for all that we needed. We had morning coffee on the front porch and spent lots of afternoon and evening time on the back decks. The newly installed sauna and cold plunge were hits! The nearby Spirit Trail provided a nice walking path and the beach of Clark Lake is very close by. Several of us drove about 15 minutes to a park that included a great playground and pickle ball courts. This was our second stay at this house and we plan to be back for a third!
We had a wonderful stay/time. The property was all decked out for Christmas. So much space for 16 of us to spread out!
We all enjoyed the hot tub. Especially the kids. We were bummed there wasnt any snow. Just the typical mushy Michigan weather. Lots of space outside also to spread out.
A few suggestions would be to clean out some cupboard space for guests to use for food/supplies. Also, organize/upgrade pots and pans. We were searching between kitchens for things to cook with. There is tons of stuff in the kitchen to use, but so much its hard to find things. Maybe pack some stuff away for now.
Also, maybe some instructions on how to use appliances/tvs. We figured out the fireplace and hot tub by fiddling with it. There is a sauna outside but we couldnt figure it out.
Theres also a fancy coffee machine in addition to the keurig and coffee pot.
Overall its a very nice place to have a family vacation. Very clean and lots of space. Its probably really great in the summer!

Wonderful Family Vacation!
I plan an annual family trip - this year we had eight adults and one 2 year old - traveling from northern Michigan, southern Michigan, and Columbia. This year I was looking for a spot to just be together and enjoy family time, without having to drive too far for my granddaughter. I'm so happy I found this listing! This house provided everything we were looking for and more!! With five living rooms we had plenty of indoor space for gathering together for boardgames and conversations! And the outdoor space is amazing and beautifully landscaped! With a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, gazebo, hammocks, swing, fire pit, huge open backyard area for lawn games...we had so many opportunities to enjoy time together! We enjoyed them all! And the outdoor lighting is amazing! The bedrooms were quite comfortable, linens and towels appeared to be brand new. Each living room had plenty of cozy space for all of us together, but spread out for different activities. We had games set up in multiple rooms.A few of us ventured out once to see Clark Lake and visit a park. But with so many opportunities to enjoy family time at the house, no one wanted to leave. The host was very responsive, answering all my questions quickly! And he text me a few additional bits of info.If you are looking for a spot to gather and spend quality time, I highly recommend this place!
What a great place for us to gather 4 generations together for a lovely long weekend! The guest contact was very responsive and the cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were nice and hot for cold days, the kitchens more than accommodated our cooking needs and the dining room table was fabulous for seating our whole family together. We would love to come back and stay again.
This property is perfect for everyone in the family. Whether enjoying the outdoors or a playing cards at the kitchen table, there’s a place and room for everyone. The home is comfortable and clean. Check in was simple and communication was great too. What a gem! We will surely stay here again should the opportunity arise. Thank you for a memorable time in Michigan!
The Clarklake cabin was just as fun as last year. Clean, lots of room, games and puzzles to keep us entertained, and the second refrigerator really comes in handy with a big crowd.
The place was near perfect. A little bit of wear and tear on it (we would have liked to use the sauna, but it appeared out of commission) but we loved everything about it. The space had a great lay out. The rooms were comfortable. Plenty of blankets and towels. A great place for our nerdy friend reunion. We would totally recommend and rent again.

Great family vacation
Beautiful location and property. Everything we could have asked for was provided, and all questions we had were promptly answered. Highly recommend!
The property has everything we needed for 6 adults and 9 kids (age 10 - 15) to enjoy a family Christmas together. We appreciated that there were multiple comfortable lounging/living room areas so people could spread out when they wanted, but there was also enough space to get her everyone together in one room. The many bedrooms were also well outfitted with comfy beds. The only complaint from anyone during our stay was that we did have a few slivers from the floor.
Exceeded expectations! Beautiful home and property equipped with everything you could ever need! Superb cleanliness, attention to detail and very spacious. Look forward to returning for a future stay!
Who knew such a fantastic place was located on the outskirts of Jackson, Michigan? We loved the rustic cabin atmosphere with plenty of space to spread out both indoors and out. Close proximity to Cascades, Clarklake, and The Parlour made it an awesome experience. We would visit this place again in a heartbeat.
We really enjoyed our stay at Clarklake Cabin. Such a beautiful huge cabin with lots of room for a large group. The cabin itself is massive with so many gathering places, lots of comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, so may games and play equipment, and 4 bathrooms. The property is also quite large with many gathering places including a large outdoor gazebo room, fire pit, large deck and fishing pond. There was so much to do at the cabin that we never even ventured over to Clark Lake.
I get together with a bunch of high school friends every year, and this year we landed on this house (when looking for somewhere to rent). Man, was this a great house! Everything that we need/wanted. So many places to hangout, from outside to inside.
This is definitely on our list of places we will be back to FOR SURE!
