The property was quite and peaceful. The house was clean plenty of room for family and friends! We enjoyed the sunroom and porch and of course the pond
Wonderful experience, I am a critic and found minimal issues with this property. It was a 5-star experience all the way around. we loved the BIG rooms, and this property was very well equipped with the consumables that should be supplied. We were in the Moberly area for a wedding and the house was nicely designed to have big breakfast gathers of family. Super roomy indoors and out to visit and a I totally fell in love with this property. We have stayed in many short-term rentals and this place took the cake. There was no need to contact the property manage for any reason at all. I look forward to the next visit to the area to enjoy this place again. If you dislike rustic this may not be the place for you however if you would give it a try, I believe you may just change your mind, do not hesitate to book this property.
From Texas thank you for the wonderful stay!!!!
I needed a last minute retreat from the chaos that can be life sometimes and this was the perfect place. I really don’t think the photos do it justice just how serene and private the property is. It felt like my own private oasis for four days.
I spent hours on the lake fishing from the dock and the paddle boat and catching so many large mouth bass and bluegill I lost count. Walking around the lake on the trail and exploring the old garden areas while taking photos of all of the flowers and beautiful scenery, especially the sunsets, was just what I needed.
The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious, especially since it was just me. I’ll have to come back with our family of ten and we’ll still have plenty of space. The bed on the main floor that I slept in was the most comfortable soft bed I’ve ever been in with super soft sheets. To top it all off, the neighbors who manage the property are super responsive lovely folks and really went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

This is a nice hidden gem. The cabin was perfect for our family and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to vacation.
Everything was very clean. Lots of trails to explore, tons of wildflowers and birds and butterflies. A little boat and pond right off the house, which was super peaceful. I wish we would’ve caught some fish, but everything was amazing.
It was our second stay at this lovely property. Loved it in June, and had to experience it again. We caught 14 fish, went out in the boat, and played lots of games. Also walked the mowed paths. Delightful!
Spent time with spouse, son, and father 87 and his sweet girlfriend , 87. Loved fishing from dock, walking around lake, and comfortable house. Coming back in October!!
The place where I live is busy and noisy. I came to relax and unwind. This was the quietest and most peaceful place I've been to in years. Will definitely go again.
The children squealed when catching perch from the pond! Our stay was much too short. Everything we needed except a toaster (which was probably there) and a larger skillet. We made do with the electric grill as a do-all! The 3 and 5-year-olds had a blast bombing grandma and grandpa from the loft. A beautiful place. Our oldest granddaughter LOVED the adjustable bed...had her husband hanging on for dear life! Our oldest grandson loved sleeping in the cooler basement. Our daughter and son-in-law had a fine time with the littles in their second-story room. Hubs and I never knew what hit us in that very comfortable king bed! It was an adjustment to get a handle on the noisy doors. Once mastered, it was one and everyone got a good night's sleep! Coffee on the veranda and early morning walks to the pond were so restful! Truly a little slice of Heaven. The host was wonderful! too and fulfilled every need quickly!
