Custom Hot Tub Cabin Near Cook Forest+ANF: Knotty Pine Lodge

"Had no contact with staff. Hot tub was completely useless as it was so small. Couch/ futon so uncomfortable. Inside of cabin was completely not handicapped friendly. Wifi would not connect and unable to watch TV. Bed not short person friendly. Over- chlorinated water."

"Room was clean and comfortable, with cleaning done daily. But the one day I put out a "Do Not Disturb" sign for part of the morning, the maid skipped my room for the day. The air conditioning did seem loud to me. I did like the shower. TP is chintzy--maybe bring along your own brand. The breakfast leaves a lot to desire--powdered eggs, crinkled sausages, only wrapped apples, but you can find enough food to make a "snack". Note there is a Perkins and Eat'n Park within one mile, so the alternatives are convenient. Being just over the hill from I-80 meant that the property was surprisingly quiet. One of the better properties to stay at in Clarion."

"The lobby is unimpressive, a bit surprising to be honest. Example, not a lobby I would sit and relax in, very cafeteria like. The elevator sounded like it had had a long hard day, probably needs maintenance. The room was clean, but spartan at best. You might need to bring a small ladder to help you get into the bed, very high mattress, but once you have climbed Mount Everest, the bed was comfortable. My lovely wife, will not stay at another one of these properties for all of the above reasons."

"Had a wonderful time. Cabin is beautiful! Was a little concerned with the solar panel situation ( never delt with before) as we were stuck inside due to weather and amount of people in group using electricity but the system worked great! Never needed to use the back up system! Great weekend getaway"

"We checked in on May 8 for my grandson’s graduation and from the moment we arrived the service was wonderful. The room was very spacious and cleaned. The hot water was wonderful I love taking very hot showers and not to many hotels water get hot enough for me but I was in heaven taking my shower. The water was so amazing I stayed in there for an extra 10 minutes. The breakfast was delicious. The gym was nice and cleaned. My stay here was wonderful."
