"The house was in general, beautiful. There are a lot of stairs which are accurately shown in the photos. It was overall clean with the exception of noticeable stains in two of the bedrooms that could use a good cleaning. My kids loved having a fire at night in the fire pit and they absolutely loved looking for fish over the dock! It’s a great location!We were happy with the home overall but there are a few areas that could be improved upon:1). The title of the listing should remove ‘hot tub’ until the hot tub is replaced and open for guest use. While it says the hot tub can’t be used at this time in the body of the property description, most people will look at the title and assume it can be used. 2). The ‘beach’ could use updating and doesn’t really look like the photo that is shown. 3). The listing implies a pontoon rental is possible through the listing. However, when we inquired, we were given the name of a boat rental company that no longer offers rentals. With that said, Avantstay was extremely responsive and were great hosts. "

"Nicole was the best host ever and she makes you feel right at home. She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The most beautiful view of the lake and with a dock located on the main channel. Plenty of amenities you such as kayaks and fishing are available. Spotless and cozy room with everything you need. We will definitely be back. "

"Pictures are a bit misleading. The lake view rooms actually look across at houses and a sliver of lake. Rooms are very small. Think Microtel Inn if you've ever stayed at one. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable. There are tables and chairs outside the rooms on the lake side where you can listen to the country music from the reataurant below."

"We asked to be moved from a noisy room to what was hoped to be a more quiet room. The new room was a bit quieter because it didn’t have noisy people in the next room. However, the rooms have no insulation or noise barriers so any sound in the vicinity is amplified in your room. The toilet was also plugged when we checked in and mostly remained that way until we checked out. Not acceptable."
