Relaxing getaway

Comfortable dog friendly cottage

My sister and I and her little dog stayed in Glen Morris cottage for four days. It was a rustic mud brick cottage in beautiful surrounds and and was very clean with comfortable beds. Great breakfast provisions and friendly welcome from owner. Five minutes drive away from Clare and all that the Valley offers.

We were upgraded to Peppertree cottage and the location was perfect. The cottage has everything you need and is warm and cosy. Communication with the host easy. Close to Clare and our 2 pups loved it. Cannot recommend highly enough . Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Escape to the country

The 4 of us and the dogs were delighted with the setting, the cosy cottage, the breakfast, the comfortable beds. The gum forest made a great walk for all of us. Close to many eineries the Riesling trail. In a word PERFECT

Sweet cottage

Enjoyed our stay at Cathy’s cottage. Had all amenities that I wanted. Warm fire comfy bed. Great breakfast provisions. Dogs were able to run out front door without a worry. Close to Clare and Clare valley.

Great location for restful time with dog. Small cute traditional style cottage. Interesting story of building it. (Could do with a reno now). Beds comfortable. Has all basics (but bring own nonstick frying pan if you like to cook.) We had a lovely week there. We’ll book again.

Winter getaway

Lovely comfortable cottage set amongst the gum trees. The bed was so cozy, great provisions for cooked breakfast, well equipped kitchen, open fire. Enjoyed our walks around the property, close to wineries and places to eat. I wish to return and stay in another house on the property. Communication I had with Beverly was great.

Weekend getaway

My partner and I wanted a little getaway and place that we could bring our dogs. We both enjoyed our few days there and our two boys loved the open space 😄😄. We also liked the breakfast provisions supplied loved touch. Would recommend you to our families and friends. We too will be back. Thank you.

Disappointing

The beautiful drive through the tree line corrider of the driveway was the highlight. We were shocked on arrival. The 2 bedroom mud hut was deceptive from the advertised photo and lets not talk about the bathroom and the flies. The lounge rooom furniture was old and uncomfortable. Out of the 3 places weve stayed it has the lowest rating

Seclusion and peace

We stayed at Glen Morris for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Tanika and her family have created a quiet haven not too far from Clare, that feels like you are miles from anywhere. The cottage is set amongst old gumtrees with a creek out the front that we cannot wait to go back and see running in winter. The cottage is very comfortable and the verandah is the perfect place to spend an afternoon reading or whatever. Take your binoculars to watch the birds and kangaroos. The stars are amazing. Tanika is so friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Actually stayed Jan 2016.

Anniversary and pet's first holiday

First impression was wow - amazing - the drive up the driveway through the trees was so welcoming. Glen Morris Cottage was very comfortable and I loved the whole feel of the place. I called it "tree hugging country" and loved walking and just being in nature. A fabulous weekend - highly recommend

Cosy Cabin

This was such a treat. A little winter hide away to taste Clares best food and fine wine whilst tucked away in a country cabin 5mins from all amenities. Loved it!
