11/10. Exceeded our expectations. The most perfect property and location for our time in Menorca. Highly recommend. From staff to amenities with access to the adult only adjacent resort amenities, gym, spa, free yoga in the morning, amazing calm and picturesque pool, short distance to the beach and restaurants, quick drive (or bus) to La Ciutadella, and I was able to go trail running directly from the place, really everything you could ask for a perfect getaway.

Brand new hotel. Management & service (reception, cleaning and restaurants) were very friendly and flexible. A must if you are planning to spend some time in Menorca.

Very convenient for Cala'n bosch making up a large part of the resort itself . The villas and bungalows are slightly away from the hotel but basically surround the marina. We had a brilliant time.

The rep was super helpful and quick to answer our questions. The bungalow was not five star, the fridge freezer was heavily dented and rusting on the outside. The wires from the TV just hung down unsafely and the outside sunshade was broken.

Echt een fijne locatie om met kinderen te verblijven. Je loopt zo vanuit je huisje naar het zwembad en je kunt ook lekker ontbijten en lunchen voor de deur. Een mooi resort. Het zou wel fijn zijn als er wat meer water uit de douche kwam en de wc beter werkte.

Avantages : piscine devant le bungalow, accès direct au port, personnel amical et professionnel. Inconvénients : la qualité du nettoyage laisse à désirer, les bungalows sont mal entretenus, les voisins bruyants peuvent être entendus dans le bungalow par la porte intérieure commune, les équipements de cuisine sont insuffisants.

It is a lovely place to stay but I feel the checkout process let it down. We were checking out on a Sunday and no one was there to check us out but told us over the phone to leave keys inside bungalow as “no one is working until Monday”.

Easter 2019 at Villas del Lago - Menorca

Very nice, well equipped villa, great outdoor furniture, beautiful pool, comfortable indoors, AC/Heater (we really needed the heater although our stay was in Easter!!!), pretty water view, daily cleaning service and calm environment....except when the major construction site next door was active. That was a pity! It has nothing to do with how great the property and the staff is but nonetheless it is there....Would definitely recommend Villas del Lago ❤️

Gorgeous villa with lots of space & lovely views

We stayed in Villa 1. The villa is on top of the row of restaurants, but we hardly heard any noise from below. The villa's are all nice and private; we couldn't really hear or see the guests in the villa next door. The villa itself has lots of amenities, 3 bedrooms with a small 'half' bedroom which has a pullout sofa bed, 2 full bathrooms and an extra toilet, large kitchen, spacious living room, and two outside areas: one looking out on the marina and the other next to the pool. The amount of space means this is ideal for large families so you're not on top of each other all the time! We unfortunately had a few maintenance issues whilst we were there; the most urgent ones were resolved quickly, but it would've been nice if the villa had been checked more thoroughly before our arrival. The staff were all very friendly. We didn't use many of the hotels facilities, but we did use the bar one evening. Sadly the service was slow and the drinks weren't very nice. There are much nicer bars around the marina including Flamingo, where the staff were so nice. The location of the hotel is really good, near to the marina, lots of restaurants, supermarkets and just a short walk from the beach. The villas are separate from the hotel - you have to either go over a bridge (with steps) or walk right around the marina to get to the villas, so worth asking the staff to take the luggage over, like we did. Despite a few small issues, we had a great holiday and would definitely return

Great apartment in beautiful setting

Booked in to stay at Villas de Lago as a late booking (much cheaper through Expedia) for a family holiday with our 2 teenage (14 yr ) daughters and couldn't have been happier with the result. The bungalows are very spacious and well equipped for self catering with a lovely outdoor patio and a really beautiful swimming pool area. The complex is right beside a really nice harbour with numerous good restaurants.(some offer a 10% discount as you're staying at the complex) We hired a car from the airport so ventured out to some local beaches, which, although lovely, were very crowded as they are quite small as is characteristic for the most of the islands beaches.

Well located for beaches and marina.

The bungalow with 2 bedrooms was well maintained and equipped , though would have needed a better equipped kitchen if I had planned to cook for a family. Staff were extremely helpful. Holiday with 2 sixteen year olds. Pool at the bungalow site is better suited to young families. The hotel was adults only , but the boys appreciated the pool and calmer environment.

Everything we wanted

Lovely clean, bright & modern accommodation. Very helpful staff. Although there was some confusion checking in, staff sorted out the problem swiftly and efficiently. We have two teenage children that the location suited perfectly. The bars, shops and restaurants are so close, yet the apartment is amazingly quiet. The marina and beach felt totally safe and unthreatening, important to me especially traveling with kids. Our first visit to menorca, and overall a lovely, very relaxing holiday. Would definitely recommend Villas del Lagos - a little oasis of calm.

Lovely place

Bright, spacious villa with private pool and terrace overlooking the harbour. A few minor issues with some of the fixtures (slow cistern, dodgy door handles) but nothing to worry about. Staff were universally professional and helpful. Facilities at the nearby hotel were first class. Definitely worth hiring a car from the airport as car (and boat) hire is very expensive from the resort. Most of the beaches that are worth visiting are only really accessible after a drive and a short walk down.

Excellent location, quality of finish of villa fantastic and service was hard to beat-nothing was too difficult no matter what time we requested assistance. However as we had a very inquisitive 3 yr old who can't yet swim, we had to make use of shutters to prevent him gaining access to the pool overnight / during the day-internal locks were predominantly handle pull-up opposed to key-lock. There was also no gate between back and front-ideal for an older family /couples, but a little dangerous for our toddler. The wifi coverage was excellent by the pool, but hit and miss in the villa and non-existent overlooking the marina. We were in villa no. 2. Overall, I would definitely recommend and go back again, but if their overall management is as conscientious as their staff, I'm sure the slight tweaks to make the stay perfect will be in place when we return.

Even better than expected!

Beautiful place, really great rooms and location. The staff are really, really nice people who did everything they could to help with anything we needed. It was fairly quite when we were there as it was the start of the season but it had everything we needed and I would definitely go back, a great relaxing week thank you.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!

Wonderful stay at the villa del Lagos resort staying in the bungalow 2 bedroom property. We had 3 children ages 2, 3 and 5 and the area was safe,clean and perfect for our family. With just a 2 min walk to all the nightlife and restaurants we were close but far enough away for peace and quiet. The beach was a 10 min walk and beautiful. Lovely stay!!! Highly recommended for families.
