"This home is on a dirt road in Cuidad Ducal, a community of gates homes near the town of Las Navas del Marques. We used this as a base to drive to Avila, Segovia and Toledo for day trips. The home was clean and comfortable. We were able to relax in front of a fire in the evening. The setting was peaceful and quiet. Esteban was friendly and informative and was able to address our needs quickly. Highly recommended."

"Un palacete muy bonito en el casco antiguo, dentro de las murallas de Ávila. Los recepcionistas muy agradables y abiertos, sobre todo el que nos hizo el checkin. La habitación sencilla, amplia y limpia. Estuvimos muy agusto. Buena relación calidad-precio."

"Fue un fin de semana inolvidable , la verdad que fue maravilloso , la casa estaba super bien , todo limpio y coló cada , lo único fue que el horno dejo de funcionar y que la segunda planta no tenia luz , pero por lo demás estuvo super bien !!Nos hubiera gustado poder disfrutar de la piscina, pero como no era temporada , no pasa nada incluso diría que esta casa en invierno también esta muy bien , sobretodo para barbacoas !!!Muchísimas Gracias !!1"

El proprietario fue muy atento, siempre dispuesto a responder cualquier pregunta y con una gran flexibilidad respecto a la hora de llegada y salida. "Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I recently stayed two nights at Hotel Los Lanceros in El Escorial, and while there are a few positives, this establishment falls far short of the 4-star standard it claims. The Positives: • The location is truly excellent. Just a short walk to the Monastery of San Lorenzo, restaurants, shops, and cafes. It is well-situated for anyone exploring the town. • The hotel staff were respectful, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. The Negatives: • This is not a 4-star hotel by international standards. At best, it would qualify as a 2-star property. • The building appears to have been last renovated in the early 1990s and has not been properly updated since. Everything from the elevators to the hallway carpeting, furniture, and doors shows clear signs of wear and aging. • I encountered serious issues with the air conditioning. My first room left me waking up drenched in sweat at 3:00 a.m. due to AC failure. I was told it would be fixed, but by the second night, it still had not been resolved. At midnight, I had to be moved to a second room. While the AC in the new room worked better, it was still centrally managed with a fixed minimum of 27°C, which is far too warm, especially in summer. • Even in public areas like the restaurant, air conditioning was insufficient, making breakfast and indoor stays uncomfortable in the summer heat. • The carpets throughout the hallways are worn, faded, and stained, with visible patches where repairs or replacem"

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Ávila. Comfy bed and the room had great A/C which was needed in the heat. The staff we met were all very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good for setting us up for the day. We parked in a car park just outside the city walls about a five minute walk from the hotel. Would recommend if staying in Ávila."
