"Incredible location in the mountains. Breakfast of bread, cheese, meat, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and other simple items included every morning. The property is a cat sanctuary as well, though they all remain outside and are extremely friendly! We woke up to the sounds of bells on goats/cows every morning roaming in the mountains. Our most memorable stay ever."

"This is a quirky hotel, the main building is a 17th C palace with the accommodation in the neighbouring building. Good prices, good breakfast. The bar was very slow to take any drinks orders although it was the Portugal World Cup game. The worst aspect was the very noisy air conditioning unit for the whole building at ground level, behind a wall, but for all rooms above ground level it was noisy 24/7."
