Continuous improvements
Current owner is continuously improving the property. A very easy stay. They have a decent breakfast in the morning and most of the stuff is nice. The building is connected to hooligans bar and restaurant. The food there is amazing and open late. Along with multiple other restaurants in the parking lot and convenience stores across the street. During the summer they have a pool outside. I’ve seen them cleaning every day. The building is smelling a lot better than it used to. The only thing that would make it better is if they had a gym.

Out-dated and looks run down.
Very poorly lit room that had light switches that didnt work. The bedding looked dated and was stained. The blankets were like a wool material and just smelled of cigarette smoke. Paint was peeling off the walls and the laminate on the shelves was peeling as well. The mattress were stained and the room had a very sour odor. We left for dinner and after coming back the room smelled even worse and just felt dirty. We ended up leaving for a different hotel just a few hours after check in because we didnt feel comfortable staying in the room.

Overall experience was okay and quiet …just had a few concerns about the cleanliness , the washroom, toilet bowl was dirty. The bathtub had streaks like it wasnt cleaned, and the sink wasn’t wiped out or cleaned properly. Cleaners needs to do better in that area.

I was in town for family weekend at Xavier College to visit my son and sue to the short time of my stay wanted a hotel that was more cost effective! Well to my surprise it certainly was, and not in a good way! I was staying alone and frankly didn’t feel comfortable at all due to the condition and the crowd around the facility. When I arrived to my room after walking down a dark grim feeling hallway that smelled of musty cigarette smoke and something else displeasing, I looked around to find many disappointing things all of which I took photos of, except for the crusty dried out wine cork that I refused to touch! In addition to that, the sheets had burn holes, the towel rack came completely out of the wall when I removed a towel after showing, the suitcase holder was completely rusted, the “slider” window screen was torn to shreds as if someone had taken a knife to it, the vent fan just wasn’t one, shower head was corroded and I had to Jerry rig the blow dryer so it would actually run cause the outlets didn’t work. This was a disaster! I also had stained wash clothes. I had no other choice but to continue my stay even though I looked for another hotel, but due to it being family weekend for both local colleges there was no available rooms. I didn’t sleep because I felt worried about the facility and there was a constant beeping from something that continued all night long, I tried playing music to drown it out and that didn’t even work! I will be requesting a full refund!

The bedspreads were threadbare and holey,it smelled like mildew,the outside door to our entrance was not working,the neighborhood is negligable at best.There was a Marijuana roach left on the windowsill. No coffeemaker in the room.The shower was gross.
