This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms.
The village itself is very quiet...

The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes.
We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived.
We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."

We were taking a night stop on the way to Calais, we picked this place and had a amazing sleep and great night stop. I definitely recommend here. It was definitely very comfortable and clean. "Fabulous chateau, lovely host, the character and location of this property is just perfect. We had an evening meal to die for, every course personally prepared and served in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was served in same lovely surroundings as was the evening dinner.

"Very convenient location as you are a five minute walk from the station. Also staff let me store my luggage here as I stayed overnight at the race. I had to return the morning of check in, but when I came back after hours they moved the luggage to my room"
